Love the phone but I am a bit doubtful with the camera performance. Don't get me wrong it's great but there are various youtube videos of camera comparison with Xperia XZs from different uploaders (so definitely not rigged lol) and XZs was surprisingly better. And XZs is not even the actual Sony flagship this year !!!!
sam, 22 Apr 2017why red tint is thereeeee???? how can fix itOnly the korean variant suffer from red tint from what I heard. I doubt yours is red tinted.

Because you don't use Samsung smartphone and dont know nothing about it. For me all Samsung features is usefull. Like no other. I do work, play and entertainment just only with my Note 3. I don't need laptop also.
Wireless often not working and showing an exclamation sign near it!often needs to disable it and then enable back!don't know whats this about!
Why is the curved narrow screen when all use 99% in vertical position ????? Rather than expanding for that reason ?????
Presently I'm using Galaxy S3 I9300. Today whenever I use this phone, this looks like TV remote - Too tall. I pre-booked GS8 +.
sam, 22 Apr 2017why red tint is thereeeee???? how can fix itIts exactly not.. There is a option "bluelight filter". If we turn on that feature, then the screen comes red tilt.
"Some might get excited by the Snapdragon 835 processor and the Galaxy S8's new position as the benchmark champion, but thanks to Samsung's heavy and seemingly poorly optimized software, those speed increases don't translate to a snappy UI experience. Scrolling in heavier apps, like the Play Store, is slow, stuttery, and unable to hit a smooth 60FPS. In general, scrolling on the S8 has a consistent jerky stutter to it, almost like it is locked to scrolling every three pixels instead of every one pixel. Not everyone will notice the effect, but it will bother performance sticklers.
Samsung seems very much like a company focused on the showroom presentation of a product, and it could give more consideration to the little details that make the overall ownership experience better. There are lots of features—the curved display, the iris scanner, the heart rate monitor, Bixby, and Dex—that make great demos but don't meaningfully change what it's like to use the phone day to day. I can just imagine the Verizon salesperson now: "Look at all the stuff this phone does that those other phones can't do! It can scan your heart rate and your eyeballs, and it has a futuristic curved display! You can hook it up to a monitor and it turns into a full computer!"
Once the customer spends a few weeks with the product, though, they'll find none of those features actually useful."
^ My thoughts exactly at what Samsung is trying to do. Gimmicks for a showroom that nobody will use or find useful in the longer run. Samsung needs to focus on the tiny details to make the overall user experience better. While Gizmodo is too busy fawning over the S8's beautiful design and nothing more after that. Shallow.
dudecool, 22 Apr 2017im not a fan of big and heavy phones, and I consider this to be just that... heavy and big
... moreAnd that is why I only keep my phones in my jacket pockets and not jeans and always make sure they have zippers, so the phone doesn't fall out.
In addition, I make sure there is nothing else there so the phone doesn't get scratched.
I got mine like 3 days ago, and it was amazing. Cameras are great, Battery is better than average( although I used high performance games), Optimizations are great, The screen is damn gorgeous and overall a sleek smooth phone and I'm suprised that my index finger can locate the fingerprint scanner faster than I expected...

GSM went on and on about its size, its thicker, taller and heavier then S7, and only 2mm thinner, overall its still much bigger than the S7. just a nightmare keeping it in your pocket..
I'll wait for the S8 mini, if that's not slick and light enough ill go back to Apple.
ugly phone with no innovation. hahahaha 2017 gonna be failure of samsung lolololol

Is there even a comparison? Iphone is a phone, less smart-more dumb.... which does half of what any good android phone does............
Comparing a small screen low res phone performance to a mammoth of a screen with high resolution is no comparison.
gondez, 21 Apr 2017the sensor is upgraded and performs better, you can check on youtube there is a lot of compari... moreIt is more advanced than the S7 but HOW MUCH more? Because I saw photo comparisons of it against other devices on YouTube and it didn't really wow me at all. The SuperSaf video against the iPhone 7 Plus had the S8+ as the winner for me but the iP7+ wasn't really the best to begin with. The S7e was beating the iP7+ and it was six months older!
To me, this camera is only an incremental upgrade. I think the Note8 will arrive with the best camera ever made for a smartphone. Copying LG and Apple is a good thing. Zooming in or out like a real digital camera.
So I got the S8 and played with it for a while.. What I can see it's an amazing beautiful phone but that's about it ,functionality starting from the fingerprint rubbish the battery on S8 you would you be expecting with the new phone the battery will last a little longer but no the battery and the camera yeah about the same like the S7, is what people are saying and thinking this will kill the iPhone but this is far from truth apart from the screen of that is amazing if you keep it on high settings which will drain your battery very quickly I would rather go for an iPhone 6 any time so I conclude by saying this is one of the most beautiful phone but as useless as ever and the new setting on android makes it even more complicated I have a feeling they're going to be as complicated as window very soon but if you're looking for a phone to look good go for the s8 . The new Porsche design by HUAWEI is light-years ahead of this phone try it yourself to believe it
RaghavaZ, 21 Apr 2017That's what i exactly hoped for in S8. A better sensor than the present one. Even Sony isn't c... morethe sensor is upgraded and performs better, you can check on youtube there is a lot of comparison video.
s7 using imx260 while s8 using imx333, the first number sony sensor model usually represents generation, so the imx333 in s8 is more technologically advanced than the imx260 in s7 one.
