(But because of some technical problem, it will take 1 or 2 days. This is horrible)

The curved edges ... moreThats actually not true at all.Curves are not useless.Also there is mostly all Smartphone has risk of hitting ground and broke.Like Apple:Iphone 8\8+ has risk of Damage cuz it has all glass back and front,Also Iphone X has screen that can break easily just by one drop ur whole money has no benefit.I'm not hating Apple or hating anyone or somehing,But I'm trying to be honest with you.Also Samsung Google Pixlel and Apple is best brand for smartphones.Btw dont sell or leave ur S8,Just keep it for few weeks and u will satisfy with it.Btw Good Luck for what u do!Also tel me in the comments. :-)

Well the S8 is a beautiful phone to look at its design is simply inadequate. The curved edges are truly unnecessary. And it exposes the phone to a greater risk of damage. Sometimes we have to think about function over form. Samsung did just the opposite with this phone. I will likely change to a different brand After experiencing this phone.

It looks like a problem with some people using third party texting apps.

Is there any sense to go for S8+ or S8 is just fine? actually i recommend the S8 than the S8+, the S8 fingerprint position is perfectly fine and the phone can be handled with one hand. the s8 plus is not. and if you are going to put the phone in your pocket the S8 is a way better than the s8+.

"how long will i get used to it?" its like asking,if i drink a liter of water,how would i feel,full or heavy? man,only you can answer that question.it'll be you who's gonna use the phone.its a matter of time and geyting used to it, may be a couple of days,weeks.dont get me wrong,but that's kind of a lazy arse question,a dumb one.but on the brighter side, S8 is a pretty solid phone. from specs to ergonomic way. GREAT PHONE!

Its like anything different and it becomes second nature, was just like when I got my first phone with a fingerprint sensor it took me a couple of days to get used to it before it became second nature.
In my opinion the position of the sensor was blown out of all proportion by some critics because they had to find something to say negative about the phone and it does take a wee while to get used to, so some people can see that as hassle but if you give it a try you may find it like me even better than a sensor placed on the front (e.g Samsung S6)
For me it works perfectly as when I take my phone from my pocket my index finger is placed at the back of the phone as I grab it in the normal way most people hold a phone (even better if you use a case as there is a cut out for the sensor and your finger just goes there automatically with the aid of the cut out)
My phone is unlocked as I take it from my pocket, so so easily. I'm kinda like Clint Eastwood in one of those old western cowboy movies taking his gun from it's holster....... sometimes I even pretend I'm Dirty Harry and will even say "Go on punk make my day" as I do this ..... I can even get the voice just like him and this in turn has made me realise that I may have a future Career in acting, so I owe a great deal of credit of gratitude to Samsung for unearthing this great hidden talent of mine...... and hey I would of never of known if it was not for Samsung placing the sensor at the back.
Weird how just little things like this can change people's lives and change the direction in which one thought they were going....... Hollywood here I come.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 changed our right to reject something faulty, and be entitled to a full refund in most cases, from a reasonable time to a fixed period (in most cases) of 30 days. After that, you lose the short-term right to reject the goods and you'll have fewer rights, such as only being able to ask for a repair or replacement, or a full or partial refund if this doesn't work.

I had an issue with my phone also in the first week and I did not even contact Samsung and just went straight back to the retailer (I bought from a high street shop) and the phone was replaced there and then with no hassle whatsoever so worth checking out the terms and conditions.
It will depend on the consumer rights legislation that is in place in the country in which you live. The retailer in which I bought the phone from also went above and beyond that legislation and I even had the option up to get my money back within this 35 day period, I didn't do that because I'm completely happy with the phone itself it was just a case of bad luck as in your case. I have had this phone since a couple of days since launch and it has had no problems at all, it's an amazing phone. Just a shame you find yourself in a similiar sitution.
As I said I would demand a replacement and try to do that in a non confrontational way but be firm.. they may decide to have a look at the phone to see if the fault is down to Customer misuse I.E YOU ..if that is the case then I would expain that I have no other phone other than the one that you have and this will cause you a great deal of inconvenience and so on. If they do decide to look at the phone and it's more than a few hours I would even ask if they are able to provide me with a phone during that period so that I can at least have a phone whilst the faulty one is being checked. Explain that you will lose money if you have a time limited pay as you go for example that you have already paid for. Apply as much pressure as you can, but hey that might not be necessary as they might just replace it there and then anyway.
Hope that you get this sorted with the least amount of hassle and that you are treated as a valuable Customer, you have paid a of money for a product, this is the least that you deserve :)
