I don't like the dimensions. 6.2 inch fone with 78 mm width of a fone. Useless. If u increase the display size , increase width. Don't make a school ruler shaped fone.
Apart from weird resolution! We have nothing new!! Wait and see :))
Wow, amazed with the dimensions, with 5.8inch screen just 68mm width. Bravo Samsung u bring the tech a big step forward. I believe this will be the future smartphone design for the next 2 years.
this phone wil still sell beacuse its samsung but battery will give you a facepalm and a physical button beside the camera wth. LG G6 will beat this phone silently.
LG G6 just did it just right with its 2017 flagship
1) Dual Sim and FM
3) Edge to edge display with 18:9 ratio, thin and tall, curved screen
4) Square Cam App, Dual Cam, Wide Angle
5) Waterproof and wireless
6) Google Assistant
7) Fingerprint placement
9) Dolby vision screen
10) perfectly efficient 821 snapdragon processor, 64gb space and 4GB RAM
Low battery only 4GB ram bad for gaming.
I was expecting much more from Samsung but they fail again.
Ask a lot of money for something which doesnt stands for 400-500 eur.
So definitely no.
Roman, 29 Mar 2017Is there a mini version of s8 planning?Yeah it's called the Galaxy A3 2017
I don't get the appeal, S8 seems to have some major design flaws:
- Battery is waaaay too small for that screen, this will have less than 70h endurance rating
- 2:1 is a bad idea, it is hard to reach the status bar with your thumb
- Fingerprint reader is on the farthest point from your finger, it will be super uncomfortable to unlock...
I have no idea what Samsung is thinking with this phone
Dear Velz Titan,
have you every compared Iphone 7 camera with Samsung edge ?
Just compare and you must take your words back.
Samsung Galaxy S series is life style standard. Some of new Tech and innovation's heaters wish Samsung fail but those have limited mentality.
For sure I will buy Galaxy S8 or S8+ and I am sure my friends and family members will get it too.
Should purchase S8 at least 3 months after launch to check whether it explodes or not. Battery may not last more than a day. Other specifications are really good.
I expect a REMOVABLE battery, especially given Samsung's battery problems. Why don't they offer this feature? It's important?!
This phone speaks to something that I am really starting to dread about phones today. Samsung had been among the few to make flagship grade phones with physical hardware buttons, and these have now been sacrificed to make room for even more screen which is now in a non-standard aspect ratio.
