Best phone ever..I guess other brands will imitate Samsung new brilliant design
AnonD-505564, 29 Mar 2017So Iris face recognition bixby dix bezeless wireless charging and the extra accessories from b... moreSony XZ Premium is by no means a better phone than S8, however features like iris scanner or DeX are not likely to be used by most buyers on a regular basis. Bixby is interesting, but I don't think these AIs have regular use either (I don't mind being proven wrong regarding this), Comparatively, the slow-mo capture will probably get a lot of regular use from most users.
Bezel-less display of S8 is probably the biggest advantage it has over XZ Premium. It looks stunning while display or the total design of XZ Premium is boring (God damn it Sony! why can't you change your design, at least try to differentiate your flagships from the rest of your products). Honestly, I am quite tempted when looking at S8 due to its design (specially coral blue color).
For now, I think if Sony keeps the price of XZ Premium at or below 700 Euros, it would be a better option than S8. I guess we will have wait for the reviews when both are launched (then again reviews are kind of out there these days). But I think that for all the hype, Samsung could not deliver today.
oh what a bullshit of Samsung
Disappointed no camera upgrade only they upgrade quality of camera but still 12 mp
it should be 5.5 inch
AnonD-237389, 29 Mar 2017Buy an Xperia xz premium and you will never think about Samsung again. Ha.ha.haha r8 bro
The S7 and S7 edge was a good flagship, And still they are the best phones in the market in term of each and everything, S8 and S8 so called "+", They are good too but we got same specs except the infinite display and invisible home button. We want a phone which looks better in our hands, and yes we want higher specs too But this is a way to fool people, S8 has 5.8 inches and still have 3000mAh battery with a infinite display, S7 has 5.1 withouy infinite display, the camera is improved But still 12MP as they upgraded the front one to 8MP, same with the S8"+" 6.2 infininte display with just 3500mAh, S7 and S7 edge are the best phones they've ever made, and now they are antiques, if you have one then you have to save that one.
Anonymous, 29 Mar 2017The 2:1 aspect ratio makes the size of the phone similar to one that is 5.2".5.2 inch phones usually have dimension of 145~146, 71~72. This crap has 149, 69. It's more like a tower than a phone.
I don't know what's the problem with these companies nowadays they r not providing dedicated SD card slot in dual sim phones
I really hate hybrid sim option
S.A.H, 29 Mar 2017Once again, too disappointed. I'll pass this upgrade cycle or I switch to Sony, Samsung conti... moreNot to mention that the presentation was right out of Brave New World. There seemed to be no real improvements on the phone, and they even went backwards, not selling a model you can hold by the sides for greater security. But also, all the talking points seemed to be about how they can collect all possible data about you and sell it to "their partners". Anyone who gets this phone better read up on how to secure it. Samsung seems to be trying to make up for lost revenues by Orwelling you to the limits.
Once again, too disappointed.
I'll pass this upgrade cycle or I switch to Sony, Samsung continuously failing to impress me by providing very shallow improvements with many limitations.
AnonD-511778, 29 Mar 2017+ Great cam for XZPSo Iris face recognition bixby dix bezeless wireless charging and the extra accessories from be to 360 camera + the fact it's a Samsung and won't go half price in 2 months and u don't find any difference??
Good for u.... Keep the healthy relationship with sony
No radio, curved screen (hate them), iris scanning - wtf's that about ! - big brother wants your soul !!!!!!
AnonD-393112, 29 Mar 2017That's the most retard comment I've seen today. Also the S8 uses Quick Charge 4. (100% in ~20 mins)BIGGEST disappointment of 2017
Anonymous, 29 Mar 2017So basically all of our hands became huge all of a sudden. Screw this! What's the difference b... moreExactly. I'll keep by LG G4 until someone comes out with a (near) bezel-free 5" phone.
