AnonD-183089, 27 Mar 2017Only 3000mAh while s7 edge is 3600mAh?!cause the chipset nm are like 10nm or 14nm
AnonD-393112, 25 Mar 2017A bit taller (Not far too tall!) S7 Edge is taller than the S8.No, s8 has a taller display than the note 7.
2cm taller than the s7 display.
So if the s7 had the right size display for you these are a lot larger.
Be ready to get your finger prints on the camera lens, coz if the rear mounted finger print sensor is in the same place as shown then yes be ready to get finger prints on your camera lens as many of them will accidentally touch camera frequently which will end up cleaning your camera lens before clicking any picture... Over all a great design and can be a game changer phone for samsung...
AnonD-183089, 27 Mar 2017Only 3000mAh while s7 edge is 3600mAh?!GS7: 150.9 x 72.6 x 7.7 mm & 3600 mAh
GS8: 140.1 x 72.2 x 7.3 mm & 3000 mAh
Is that reasonable or not!? I think yes it was too!
LG android phones almost all do not have amoled screen, u are releasing new one tomorrow is very nice, I like amoled screen, still waiting...
AnonD-183089, 27 Mar 2017Only 3000mAh while s7 edge is 3600mAh?!No, it will be 2600mah with 5.2" display. You will see it this 29th March.
If the S8 is really only 140mm tall with a 5.8 inch screen then this will be the game changer that so many consumers are looking for e.g big screen but small footprint and easy to hold. If it works out well for Samsung then expect others to follow soon after.
Anonymous, 24 Mar 2017It will be the first phone that uses the Snapdragon 835. This is more than just a faster cpu ... moreThose are little changes. My Zenfone Max has 1 week of battery life (I am writing from it and the last charge was 1 whole week ago).
So then the only improvements on S8 would be a faster CPU and 5G connectivity, that is, faster connectivity. I consider 3G fast enough for me. In fact I have 4G and I have it disabled. Improvements on the S8 don't impress me.
Gilbert, 27 Mar 2017May I know what are the BLOATWARES that Samsung will load ( cannot be uninstalled) in the upco... moreIf you own S7 edge you should know there is a feature there that enable you to turn off the app you dont want to use even if you cant uninstall it. Tap and hold the app you want to delete or disable. Drag the icon over to the trash can icon on the top left of the screen.
Keep the Amazon app. It gives you access to Amazon Underground, which is a great way to get free apps that otherwise cost money on Google Play. Delete Kindle if reading not your thing. Delete Facebook. It notorious for draining battery. If you need FB, use the free Metal for Facebook app instead. It replicates the experience without zapping your power.
For Samsung apps, keep the Memo cause you will find yourself using it more often than not. Keep the File, for easy managing of stuff you download. Keep S-Health as S7 have inbuilt pedometer to track your calories and distant travel & it also have a heart rate monitor. Keep the S-Voice for hands free control. You can use voice memo and car mode with it. Delete Samsung Gear if you dont use smartwatch. Delete Samsung Milk Music if you dont stream radio. Its only free on few select of Samsung devices. Next, if you bought your phone from a carrier my advice, DISABLE all of it useless apps.
So, there are not much bloatware other than from Amazon, Samsung apps and carrier apps. I dont consider Google apps as bloatware btw. Good luck with your phone. Other brand offer pretty much similar useless apps.
May I know what are the BLOATWARES that Samsung will load ( cannot be uninstalled) in the upcoming S8?
When will Samsung allow users to UNINSTALL BLOATWARES? Until then, I will not upgrade my s7 sdge to s8. And next time I buy a new cp, it will NOT be a samsung loaded with uninstallable bloatwares.
Can't wait till 29 March comes fast S8,S8+ hope you bring breathe taking improve display and new UFS micro sd card support
AnonD-656139, 26 Mar 2017I think that will be for the 256 gb model so it far fair and if samsung wanted to. Return the ... moreTrust me supliers don't have even 1/10 of the note7 caused losses. Even if they sell they equpment factory everything (the supliers)
also last reports say the note7 issue was not in battery itself, but too small free margin between the battery and body. Which is due to samsung own design which means you can't sue yourself. your own developers and engeneeres done the mistake. Not the supliers.
AnonD-103147, 26 Mar 2017I've got the s7, but why in the world this one would cost 900euro?It became taller and the bat... moreThe 835 is much more efficient so it will have a better battery life than the s7
