In August we heard that Samsung bought up almost all available Snapdragon 845 chips from Qualcomm for its Galaxy S9 and S9+ duo. Today a new report basically confirms that the entire first production run of the new chipset will be sold to Samsung for its S9 phones.
The S9 and S9+ with the Snapdragon 845 inside are destined for the US market, unsurprisingly. Other smartphone makers will get access to the 845 at a later point compared to Samsung, which will thus once again have a time-to-market advantage over its competitors from this point of view.
Basically the same thing that's described here has happened this year with the S8 duo and the Snapdragon 835. Samsung buying up all available units of that chip forced LG to use the older Snapdragon 821 in its G6, while other companies simply postponed their flagship launches by a few months in order to ensure a decent supply of 835s.
The same source also claims that the S9 duo will be launching a month earlier than usual, which means we can expect them to be in stores in mid-March. If this is true, then an announcement at MWC in late February seems likely. Obviously do take all of the above with a pinch of salt, it's just another rumor at the moment - though it does confirm earlier mumblings, for what it's worth.
NICE! That's the exact word for this phone just have one from a local telco here in the Philippines. I must say this phone is pretty impressive. As usual did the drain and uninterrupted 8 hr charge first, and the battery life of my s8 lasted for 2 days with 6-8 hrs of wi fi and data for the internet played some games also. For those who says that smart phones don't need to drain the battery and do an uninterrupted 8 hr. charge with out doing the trial charge in POS. You are all fools! You see phone makers love to advertise that so you would buy another back up battery from them after the warranty period expires. So with the phones camera its 9/10, sound quality 7/10. I don't know about the infinity display it's literally just a display nothing special about it. Just hate the voice command! You must have an american accent or intonation of an american enable for your phone to recognized it. Set aside that this phone is 9.6/10.
No name, 10 Oct 2017hmmm,Most people can't\will not answer,But let me clear this for u,First of all I'm both Apple... moreNo bro I'm more confuse now after reading your comment. I've used both Android and IPhones in the laat. The thing is what I hear now is that Samsung phones providing so much versatile things and IPhones don't especially in comparison of IPhone X and Note 8/Galaxy 8 but to be honest these is no such thing as iOS I mean it's the best thing to use and I got addicted to IPhones just because of iOS. So now maybe Samsung is more versatile in it's specifications but I just love iOS so that's the main confusion.
AnonD-707033, 10 Oct 2017IPhone X Or Note 8 or Galaxy s8 which one is better?hmmm,Most people can't\will not answer,But let me clear this for u,First of all I'm both Apple and Android Fan.

AnonD-707033, 10 Oct 2017IPhone X Or Note 8 or Galaxy s8 which one is better? That question is like asking what is the best coat out there, depends on what your preference Is, what kind of style you like, what are you looking for, what do you want it dor, does it have a hood, is it water resistant, is it long or short, thick or thin, does the colour suit you, is it a good fit, .....I might say hey, that big pink coat over there, thats the best" ....then you might turn around and go "Yuuuuuk" as it might not be what you are looking for..we may have different tastes and needs....
Impossible question for me to answer. We are all different, one person's sweet dream is another person's nightmare.

I didn't get the phone to turn heads, to impress others, the phones beauty can still be enjoyed, it's just a case (see what I did there?) of being sensible ....... well that's the way I approach it and how I see it.

24, 09 Oct 2017Tempered glass and a solid case will somehow do the trick, man.
Unless you are a very clumsy person. All it's beauty vanishes by covering case :(
And yes I'm a clumsy man , Can I have a well made flagship ? :)

That's compared to 20% degradation of S7 Battery, I have already posted this several times with sources here on gsmarena. The info is out there.

Furthermore you have to wait a couple of days for the phone because of this 'technical' issue. All of this is not your fault it's theirs.
Who knows they may even give you something as a goodwill gesture e.g credit a voucher maybe even a VR headset if you are really lucky. I would but its up to you but at the end of the day the worst they can do is not to give you anything. If you were one of my Customers I would certainly sort you out with something as you have paid enough for a product and so far it's not met your expectations and caused you inconvenience, I would also want you to buy many other products from me in the future.

Such a shame you have to wait a couple of days though I feel your pain, must be a frustrating for you when you just want to play about with your new toy, I would fee exactly the same. Thanks for letting me know how you got on, appreciated, and was thinking about you and hoping it would go ok for you. I''m sure you will absolutely love the phone as I do.
