Do u want a smartphone that gets put up on the "Shelf Of Shame" or a smartphone that can still survive the shit outta bend test? I know in real life it is not important but it shows how durable a smartphone can be if encoutered this kind of situation

A case is the best option to protect the device from a impact. Not all cases can stop impact damage either, the best and only option is to purchase a case that has raised edges above screen, camera and

My pinion DS8 stinks I have my other phone for 8 years never had a crack. Had the S8 for 2 weeks and dropped it from 16" in the ground and the screen is completely busted. Even with the screen protector. Whatever engineer designed the wrap-around glass screen should be fired
Boebus666, 05 Aug 2017Clearly you people don't know how RAM is managed by Android... the readout of 1.6GB that you'r... moreNo way!! The unused RAM is Actually the amount of RAM. I've checked it. When you open multiple apps, these apps occupies the available RAM and consequently slows down your phone. Also the OS eating RAM is also accurate because, when i flash external rom in my phone, the available RAM inscreases. So your point is quite invalid.
how to apply update patch by boot menu.

how to apply update patch from boot menu after downloading that.
AngryLion, 05 Aug 2017do you guys recommend me to buy this one or s7e? is there any different I don't waste my money. You can buy S7 Edge as it is powerful enough. Camera is almost the same. Battery life is a bit better.
Sunn, 05 Aug 2017Still difficult to choose btw s8 and u11 Not really if you consider price... U11 is now 750 euros and s8 is 520... i preff u11 but for price i would go for S8

I have been dealing with RAM since the days of 32 pin SIMMs. Nuff said.
Don't talk to me about a sensible opinion. Save those words for yourself.
When running apps are killed they don't always re-open because if I clear RAM using the Smart Manager the memory consumption gets less and it stays less for the most part and even if it increases it's not by a lot...certainly not to the high point it was before I ran the cleaner.
For the record Marshmallow is the best thing that happened to my S5 Octa-core. No lagging unless I have lots of apps and huge apps open and even then it doesn't always lag either regardless. 99.9% of the time apps doesn't close UNLESS I close them. My S5 have no heating issues and no memory draining issues and it charges all the way to 100% each and every time. My S5 is as perfect as can be.

I disagree with you. I have a S5 running Marhmallow and once the used RAM rea... moreIn addition to my S8, I also have a Galaxy Tab S 10.5 LTE which is from the same era as your S5 and my tablet was a mess after the Android 6.0 update.. It would lag like hell sometimes, it would overheat and close apps, it would not charge past 74% etc etc... So that lag is not because of a low amount of free RAM, this is not Windows OS [the PC one], this is Android..
You don't have the faintest idea of what I'm talking about to form a sensible opinion, you should do your research and learn something instead of living in your illusion of knowledge..
Samsung includes an Optimiser which has the option to kill running apps... Not to clean your RAM.. It doesn't touch the OS background apps and services that are running and taking up space on the RAM.. On the S8's version of the Optimiser you can kill some of the background running processes and services but they just start right back up.. so you end up achieving nothing apart from draining your battery a tad bit by doing so...
I got the s8 exynos version and it's super fast couldn't be more happy with the device. This trolling about the device being super fragile is totally pathetic. The phone is as durable as any other device out there. If your worried about damaging the device get a case problem solved. But don't be put off by people (fanboys) who have no idea and have no intention of purchasing this great device. It is well built and there are a lot of videos putting the device through durability tests with a positive outcome. I use mine at work and have young kids who have gotten hold of my device and have been quite rough with it, that's good enough for me. Yes there may be a couple of devices that can open an app fraction off a second quicker but for what else the device offers like wireless charging, water resistance, excellent infinity display, good battery life, excellent camera and more the s8 stands out as one of the best made this year as agreed by most, if not all reviewers that have used this device. Hope this helps with people that have been put off by fake reviews and opinions of people that have not used the device.
