Unknown, 18 Jun 2017Everything is fine for me about Galaxy S8. These are the big problems that got me so livid and... moreSince you have so many unsatisfaction about S8 devices, why did you bought it in the first place? You might as well buy an iPhone 7 instead of S8. I am a diehard supporter of Samsung. Therefore, I won't allow anyone to criticize or ruin Samsung's reputation. Samsung have really tried their best to produce a high quality phone. You have no rights to blame Samsung. Why buy Samsung S8 when you are not even a supporter of Samsung?
StevenNewcastle, 23 Jun 2017You're wrong. The Samsung screen doesn't come close to Sony's. The Sony is faster, has a bette... moreThere is no plastic in S8. Sony have old and ugly design with large bezels. Also exynos is better than Snapdragon. Better battery life and camera. Only draw back is the fingerprint sensor.
I upgraded from the Galaxy S7 and I am quite pleased with this device. The Audio quality is excellent and I like the Extra Volume feature for outdoor use. The speakerphone is good as well and is louder than the S7.
The display is great. Having a larger aspect ratio makes most of my apps, especially my weather apps look real good. Screen is very responsive even with a screen protector. The Edge display enhances the experience too.
The ROM of 64 GB is great coming from a 32 GB device. I have 48 GB of free space available with my photos and apps. I elected to add my 32 GB Micro SD card (Class 10) for more storage. The 4 GB of RAM handles everything well, I was a bit surprised that it does not come with more RAM, like 6 GB or more.
My music files sound good with the supplied head phones but they lack Bass compared to my S7. The music player handles very well. I feel there was improvement on it since the S7. Videos are sharp with the video player.
The thing that impresses me the most is the improved battery life compared to the S7 with the same 3000 Mah Battery. I have time when I am only losing 0.25% per hour on standby. The battery charges fast, the same as the S7. I was skeptical prior to purchasing that Samsung is using the same battery as the S7, I am pleasantly surprised. It lasts more than all day with moderate usage.
Overall this is an excellent product. I will not be parting with this one!

Can the huawei claim it total lost and cannot warranty. Huawei p10 plus only used for less than three week. Now I use s8 and with better camera and resistance to water and dust. Really disappointed to huawei..I think even sweating oso can damage p10 plus and don't bring p10 plus go out coz u don't know when will rain.

I did try the P10 Plus prior to my S8 but the P10 Plus' dual Leica cams totally cannot match the low light prowess of the Samsungs. Even my S7 edge won it hands down.

The Sony is faster, has a better camera and has adaptive charging too. The Sony also has better sound quality and isn't made of cheap plastics.
Anonymous, 23 Jun 2017Gaming with charger plugged in isn't good thing. If the phone is not showing any more heat and the phone is still at 100% (green light on) whilst playing a game, this to me would indicate that the the charger itself is supplying enough power to use the phone and play a game without using any power from the battery at all.
So why would this be bad exactly?
Can anyone answer this question with any certainty please.
Ok, if I charge my phone up to 100% (green indicator light on to tell you it's fully charged) and I keep the charger plugged into the phone whilst playing games. Does this have any negative impact on the battery? Will the power I'm using to play the game come directly from the charger and bypass the battery?
The reason for asking is that this method might be a good way of prolonging the batteries life (less charging) by using your phone to play games etc with charger plugged in when the battery is 100% fully charged.
Thanks in advance for your help.
.Andy., 22 Jun 2017but dont update it....trust me.....the previous stuff was good.I do what I want with my phone.
Darry, 22 Jun 2017Trust me, Oneplus 3t is more smoother and fast than S8. Seeing is believing!actually its hard to say that which one is the smoothest. in real life u cant see any major difference.
and in case of performance u should go for s8 with exynos chipset. its better in ram management and smooth multitasking.
Anonymous, 05 Jun 2017did you just say flawless. ok we gonna need to sit down and talk sometimeyou say iphone is flawless, ok what about TSMC chips that makes the iphone turn off when it reaches 80%
what about the nightmare of itunes?
what about that if phone touches the group screen will crack and its price much higher than the price of the material of glass
what about no-customization
what about everything you do you pay for it (go buy laptop core i7 better than iphone with same price)
what about every version type no improvements
what about stuck in update everytime just for security enhancements, bug fixes and stability improvements (with 1 gega pack)
what about when you download ios update and you reach 50% download and internet cut>phone goes to trash
I am thinking to buy S8+ , and i never used curved screen before, my problem is curved screen, how does you guys handle accidental touch on curved side when u hold the phone ?
Biggest worry is i drop phone occasionally so does there any cover which can protect this phone ? i mean bcz of curved edge so isnt it complicated to have back cover for edgy phones ?
