Weird software inconsistency! Well I have this phone for a little over a week now.I have the exynos version.By now almost anyone knows that it looks and feel great in the hand, how the screen is amazing and all the general stuff discussed in the reviews. And I must admit, this phone is a marvellous devices but on the software side...not exactly. Im not referring here tot the touchwiz skin as being ugly or something,it is miles better than previous versions but it is very inconsistent .The animations for example are not always the same and create weird stuff like when you close an app sometimes it will show a blue sqare around the camera app wich I have on the homescreen. In recent apps sometimes one app slides very low and the close all button disapears. The unlocking animation is inconsistent, sometimes the clock appears first then the image and somethines the other way.And in circumstances that I have yet to figure out the lock screen apears without me touching a button or somethig and it shortly vibrates .The figerprint sensor didn't respond for two or three times.I had tot press the lock button to lock the phone then unlock it so that it would work again.I had a spontanous reboot in the youtube app, then after a few days it closed the app by itself. And the haptic feedback from the homebutton is the most inconsistent thing in this phone. It works when it feels like it should,it has a mind of it's own. When the phone is locked I can't unlock it with simply pressing where the homebutton is...like 6 out of 10 times. The phone runs really fast otherwise but this kind of unfinished sofware experience really dissapoints me and if this continues through the month or let's maybe say two months...i'm switching to an iPhone7.Plese respond if you have some of this issues too. Thanks!
gorgeous phone! I got it from work yesterday. it's the first time I use an edge screen and it's rather annoying. but the phone is AMAZING! i enjoy EVERY MOMENT of the phone!!! I am a left handed luckily so the FP location is just perfect! Red tint does not happen in my device. and if you disable AoD. battery life are simply shockingly long!!! I seriously recommend it!
Quick hands on from me about this phone
Screen is great
The curve side is more subtle and easier to grip, i give it to samsung cause they finally nailed it with this one but still the curve is less practical (it got look but it tend to make on screen content distorted, especially video, except for 21:9 movie where the black bar occupies the curve)
The design choice is excellent,(except for FP scanner) mine is orchid one, good thing the front is black, it give sense of true bezelless, more when using AOD, and prevent some swiss cheese like pattern on the top
Camera is great in lowlight, in daylight especially when in broad sunny day, image tend to be washed out a little and sometime overexposed, maybe side effect of bright f1.7 lense
Speaker is loud, though a little bit on the bad side in term of quality
The ui is great, better than former touch wiz
Default at FHD+ (not a problem to us, but to vast majority of people who doesn't tinker with their phone much, which i think is the majority of this phone owner, will never know this probably until they get a new phone)
FP scanner location
The tall screen which need a little bit of fingers stretching
Else is great

I am a samsung freak since last 10 years and I don't remember that I have not used any of their smartphone since then. But in their recently launched smartphone S8/S8+ from the day one I faced 'Fast Wireless Charging' issue as the phone is not charging as fast on the Samsung Fast Wireless Charger. The same issue have been informed to Samsung Company in my country UAE, but till date they are not accepting that there is a default manufacturing issue regarding Fast Wireless Charging in their phone. I think this issue they might correct with the software update or so but the strange/disappointing thing for me was that I am trying to aware them about this issue but they don't want to listen a single negative word about their flagship phone and are reluctant to accept the defect in it. My only request to all users of S8/S8+ is that they should also check their handset too on the Samsung Fast Wireless Charger that while charging wirelessly is it showing 'Fast Wireless Charging' or it displays only 'Wireless Charging' which is also showing on my S8 too.
By investigating this we can inform the SAMSUNG team to take this matter seriously and on priority and try to resolve it or otherwise, they should accept that they made this default change in their S8/S8+ phone that its Fast Wireless Charging is being disabled and it will only charge at regular Wireless Charging, not like Note 5, S7 and S7 Edge smartphone.
Holazz, 14 Dec 2016Samsung must be joking with 3000 MAH battery.2 millions product aint no joke boy
still don't get why samsung only put Quick Charge 2.0 whilst Snap835 already supported QC 4.0 its damn slow for a expensive phone to charging 10% to 100% for about 2 hours.
Believe if it was QC 4.0 you only need about 70 mins from 10% to full charged or even quicker

I don't know exactly about US version using Adreno GPU
Samsung's new S8 attempts to be the next Note 7 in terms of specs. It has the same IP67 certification that I love. Samsung continues the great Super AMMOLED screen technology. The screen covers 84% of the body, which makes it look spectacular. The US version of the phone uses the Snapdragon 835, which uses a lot of power, but has a lot of power behind it. The international version uses the Exynos 8895, which uses less power, but in return has less power. The GPU for the US model is the Adreno 540, while the international model GPU is the Mali-G71 MP20. Based off of performance tests, the Adreno handles more than the Mali. Overall, I highly recommend the US model over the EMEA model. Samsung has also switched the charger from 2.0 type B, to 3.1 type C, which is much better. Overall I give the Samsung Galaxy S8 a Smart Score of 8308.8 (the S7 has a Smart Score of 7404.7)
It's Good But If it is wider and slimmer It becomes number one quality of samsung mobiles
