I don't want to be rude. I am asking because, you are blindly trying to support your comment "Micro Sim can be used in S9 Plus". I have explained about those Sim any why it can't be. Still you are giving some link about Sim adopter.
Nano Sim is the smallest in size among the all Sim card. If you want to fit Nano Sim in the slot which is designed for Micro/Mini Sim then only you need the adopter. The adopter only increase the size not reduce. And S9 Plus designed for Nano Sim only.

Speculation is Samsung was attempting to close the gap on iPhone's Single Core benchmarks but in doing so lost efficiency due to the M3 Core Architecture design.
"Samsung's new custom M3 cores inside the phone are clocked extremely high, up to 2.7GHz when only one of the four performance cores is engaged, and that, according to an excellent overview by AnandTech, ramps up the voltage (and the heat output), causing it to churn through the Galaxy S9's battery like a raccoon through garbage"
sukrsa2004, 29 Sep 2018No, the device is designed for Nano sim only.Yes, but you'll need an adapter tray.

But the original question was asked by 'AlexS' was "Can I put a nano sim and a micro sim at the same time?"
And you can't use micro sim unless you cut it to match the size of Nano sim.
Correct me if I am wrong.

Nano Sim is the smallest in size. So, it can be placed with adapter in the slot designed for Micro Sim. But Micro Sim can not be placed in Nano sim slot unless it cut to reduce and match with Nano sim.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
mark, 30 Sep 2018yes.. i try also reset my phone... but same still heatingThe S9 and S9 Plus have a known defect with the Exynos Chipset variant which causes overheating and higher than normal battery drain. Not all Exynos variants have this issue but it's a common problem for that particular chipset.
