for eg class 4 can transfer 4Mb/Sec,
Class 6 transfer 6Mb/Sec,
Class 10 transfer 10Mb/Sec.
So Class 10 is the best for quick access.
Sometimes class 10 can also be used as Ram.

i bought galaxy s dous 2 but i bought the chinese one (made in chine by samsung)and its sound is not soo clear and its accessories are not soo good so i recommend to buy s dous made in veitnam its better but in general this phone is very good

Can any body guide me regarding choice between NOKIA lumia 525 and Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 S7582. My criteria are - use of g Mail, internet browsing,folder wise storage and viewing of music and video file, ease in feeding and editing contacts, Music output. I dont play many games. In normal uses will the battery last for a day with 2-3 hrs of calling? Thanks 2 whosoever answers my question

> With 3G on but not actively browsing? Or are you browsing the internet straight for hours? If 3G is just on, this will last around 6 to 8 ours depending on what else is running on your phone. How often you switch your phone display on. And the brightness of your display.
2. how long does it last if I see movies with 3G internet on ?
> Not much. Movies + 3G drain your batteries fast. Probably enough for just 1 main stream movie. Again, it depends on the resolution of the movie, is the movie saved in your sdcard or is it being streamed over the internet. What are the apps running on the background. What are the active apps accessing the internet in the background. What is the brightness level of your display.
3. How long does it last if I start a call with 3G internet
> A call while 3G is on? That's not possible. Your phone will automatically downgrade to 2G/Edge whenever you make a call. This will depend on the same things I've already mentioned above. I have never made an hour of call so I don't know. But basin on what I have experienced with my phone so far, this will probably last up to 4 hours.
But if you meant to make a VOIP call or a call through apps like viber, skype. I'm sure your battery will drain way faster.
4. How long does it last if you use GPS switched on with 3G maps ?

> I just did this for you. I enabled the battery indicator to display in percent and started recording for 1 minute. The indicator didn't change in %. It remained the same. I guess 1 minute of recording won't be enough to register a 1% deduction in the battery.
I really doubt if the battery survives even 1 day... i.e. if I start from home, take calls of around 4-5 hours a day, use Internet of 2-3 hours etc.

I have a Galaxy S3 and I know for sure it won't be able to keep up with what you've mentioned. The best solution is to always bring with you a powerbank and and if it's not much of a hassle, bring your battery charger. That's what I currently do. I always charge whenever I get a chance. I use the power bank if I need to charge and I don't have access to a power outlet.

Change the brightness of your display to 20% or lower. Protective casing can also increase heat of the phone.
Important note. Smartphones heat up when using 3G/4g(LTE). It's normal since the phone is actively sending and receiving signals. Also the CPU is actively working and most likely running at the fastest mode. My S Duos 2 heats up when browsing but not as much as my S3. All I do is just lower the brightness of the display. It doesn't get rid of the heat, it just lessens the heat. If the heat is unbearable, then you should bring it to the nearest samsung service center and have it looked. There could be something wrong with the hardware or software.

Don't buy this phone if you play a lot of games. There are better units for gaming belonging to this price range.

Don't bother getting anything slower. Class 4 and 6 can sometimes cause your applications to hang up due to the slow access. Ignore vendors telling you 4 and 6 are fine. They WERE fine back then, but now apps are more demanding in speed and reliability.

Hi,
This is my first post here. I would like to share my thoughts about this phone.
What I like
1. Dual Sim.
- Both sim support 3G and both are quad band.
- Both sims are "normal" in size.
- Both sims can receive calls & sms. Whenever you are in a call in any of the sim and you can be notified with an incoming call from the other sim. By default, this feature is not enabled in my phone. This feature might also inquire additional charges since what actually happens here is the call in the standby sim is being call forwarded to the other sim that is currently in a call.
2. GPS (A-GPS and GLONASS support)
- The GPS lock time for this phone is insanely fast compared to my galaxy S3 and my older phone the LG P690. The average coordinates acquisition for me is 5seconds. This will probably differ if you are being surrounded by tall buildings, cloudy skies or in thick forest.
What I wish this phone had
- Bigger battery capacity.
- 1Gb of RAM since most of the phones at the price range are already 1Gb.
- 4Gb of usable internal storage.
Overall, I am very happy with this phone. I don't play games in my phone.
If you play a lot of games in your smartphone, please don't buy this one. There are better gaming smartphones in this price range.
