When they first time launch galaxy s duos in india. And now u will get s duos @9k.......Don't accuse samsung before buy use ur brain :) If some phones in competition then definitely price will drop. Never ever hurry to buy any phone....Its only business for them....Use ur brain, compare, ur requirements, is any phone coming next month (search), which is better than this, etc etc :)

Dual core 1.2GHz (same like this one)
4.3" screen qHD
1222MB ram
Android 4.3 jelly bean 4.2 would've been justified

Think why Samsung phones are so expensive ? why Samsung making us fool ? they charging more money from us. For example s duos is more expensive then s duos 2 at the launch. It cost rs.15000 at launch and s dous 2 cost around rs.10500 with the better processor. then how it possible it production cost is less then s duos. Samsung charging from us extra then other companies. so I am not going to purchase the Samsung mobiles from now. Are you agree with me ?

Everything about this phone is great except for the white models, the silver paint easily chips off and now my phone is spotted. The silver painting around the phone is flaking

If anybody tell me which phone to select between Galaxy s duos and Xperia M then i will select Xperia M...............If anybody say which phone u will select between Xperia M and Galaxy core then i will select Galaxy Core. (Now some peoples know that how Samsung play games)......Buy phone with open minded not like blind mind.......:)

one thing,why I want to buy Samsung mobiles...
I want to use fb app & phone in my tounge language(punjabi) while on net & Samsung mobiles support it ...there is no other phone supporting my language
but Samsung phone quality is not good

Thank you for the timely reply...will do so...really disappointed that Ace 3 would not release in India...will wait for the final review of Galaxy S Duos 2 and buy...

WTF! only difference in 1 is this is dual core all other specs are the same not even the battery or internal memory have been upgraded typical marketing strategy. FAIL!!!!! BBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! for samsung

Dr RAJA, 06 Dec 2013No GPU, in s duos 2 I suppose!It has Broadcom 4 GPU. Its not mentioned on gsmarena, it doesn't mean that its not there. Most of the times they don't mention about that for other phones too.

AnonD-83192, 06 Dec 2013Both have nearly same battery backup. Only thing is that Jelly bean is more optimised than ICS... morethat's y 1800 mAh battery in galaxy core bro. Which is bigger than s duos 2. U can check battery review of galaxy core Gsm Arena which is 49 hrs. Nearly 50 hrs backup. AnonD-83192, 06 Dec 2013All those talking here about Moto G should know that it will be launched in India for Rs.13500... moreMoto G have two models 8 gb and 16 gb both have no micro sd card option. 8 gb price 12k and 16 gb 13 - 14k in india. In 8gb model 5 gb for user(both for applications and songs etc...) which is enough for normal user and And in 16 gb model 10 gb for user (Both for applications and songs etc...)In january Galaxy core price will be 11k.

All those talking here about Moto G should know that it will be launched in India for Rs.13500. It does not come with Battery wall charger and headset. Also, memory is not expandable and battery is not removable. But, i do agree that it has better processor, bigger screen and gorilla glass. But, i think some prefer small screen and also price of Samsung galaxy S duos 2 is Rs.10500.

Better go for S duos 2. Also, Ace3 and S Duos 2 have same processor. Only difference is RAM which is 1gb in ace3 and 768mb in S Duos 2.

Regarding battery, I am trying to compare S Duos and S Duos 2. Both have battery capacity of 1500. (Core has 1800). Now, compare to S Duos, SDuos 2 has one extra processor core (dual core) and is running Jelly Bean.. Don't you think that will be battery intensive.. and S Duos (1) will give better battery backup ?
