The phone has very poor life battery. Is not a good choice for those that need longer life battery (for photos, calls, internet browsing and many other daily tasks). Like somebody else said here, it needs daily charging even if the phone is in stand-by. The photo-quality isn't such good, but is acceptable for someone that doesn't manifest a real interest in making at least good-quality photos.

It is good smartphone.....but only battary backup is negetive point....so smooth handeling handset....I using this during 1.2 year...good phone

Samsung Galaxy S7582 was a good samsung phone for its price on its release date. I have it for several months now.
Pros:
-CPU Performance is ok
-Has good GPU for playing games. Runs smooth on
(NFS most wanted, PVZ 2, Spiderman, Legend, d-day)
-Rear camera is ok
-A good midrange phone for its price.
Cons:
-Small storage for apps. Cannot transfer all data of apps to SD card. (Use folder mount to transfer data to sd)
-Batter couldn't last 1 day in normal usage.

Go to: Settings > More > Application Manager > Google Play store > click clear data
Step 2
Remove your google id in accounts.
Step 3
Restart your phone. Add your google id in accounts.

I bought this phone in Dec 2013, I have been using it until now. There are ocassions where you encounter issues which you do not expect, sometimes it hangs, but I just turn it OFF and ON again. Some people are just good in terms of complaining and they will advise the manufacturer to do something as if the manufacturer do no quality check their product.

i thought Samsung smart phone is the best, why this galaxy s duos has a bad battery pack. Calling Samsung, there's something wrong in your circuitry. Other Samsung phone are not like this...Pls test your battery pack first before goes to market..

I have bought this mobile set & used only 7 months.Now, its battery back up time has been reached to only 10 mins,when battery percentage reached to 98%,then the set is turned off i.e mobile off. what can i do? i feel very bored for this.....

i had lost my phone. how can i get the phone data into new phone,, its possible, please guide me. the battery back up is very poor.. daily i have to charge,,even its not giving the one day battery back up.
