Sid Constantino, 03 Nov 2013for crying out loud... jelly bean update for this device please.I've went on a shop in alabang town center and they told me they can update galaxy s duos to jelly bean:) you just need to bring your phone and they will tell you how.

S duos is very very bad phone because its a single core processor, no battery backup,lags forever Don't buy this and don't waste your money !

Santu, 02 Nov 2013Can s duos support HD videos(1280*720)..??nokia lumia 520 or s duos which is the best for supp... moret will play 720p videos using MX player,but with some lags and sound issues.
1080p won't play fine in this.
Under 20k phones, galaxy grand will play all hd videos. Also micromax canvas ,hd ..type of phones will play all hd videos.
Lumia 520 cannot play hd videos.

regarding to questions:
how to take screenshot - press power button on the right side together with the menu button for 1.5 secs
firmware update: i am sorry to tell you this handset will NEVER be upgraded its android version it may update but still damsh*t ics 4.0
regarding to complains/negative comments- it is simply TRUE if ya know how to use it then fine but the firmware is really ughh
what is touchwiz-well touchwiz is a dipsh*t User Interface (UI) of samsung which is reported to be laggish

Anonymous, 02 Nov 2013I have this phone. It has poor performance when using internet. Galaxy s2 is better since it i... moreNokia phones are better in 2G internet speed. They all have gprs/edge speed class 32.
But samsung phones have gprs class 10 only. So in 2G ,you will get only 12kBps at average.
Dual core or single core won't affect the download speeds. All depends mainly on the connection speeds.
