Im hoping that samsung improves performance for this phone when jelly bean update come out. Opening contacts list is very slow.
Since they choose a cheaper hardware, would be nice to optimize the software. Even sacrificing a bit of battery life.

I suggest using go power master and the inbuilt task manager for a much better battery life . I have also used apple 4s but I think s duos. Is Much better somehow

After all following the comment for 2-3 weeks decided to buy the phone.
In simple terms phone is fine for normal day to day use, with no major issues. Lag is eminent with the specs.. but can be controlled through Application like kill apps. Dual sim functions fine. For games Temple run works with out any LAG( that’s only one I checked)
Only prob that cannot be resolved is the in ability to move app to SD. All apps suggested in the reviews (APP2SD, Link2 SD) to move Apps works only if the phone is rooted.
Anybody has a solution to this without rooting the phone..!!!!

AnonD-86538, 07 Dec 2012Battery life is very poor... need to charge it every day... Otherwise the phone is good enough... moreMOST smartphones nowadays have just 1-day battery life. IF your phone will last at least 15hours on moderate to heavy use, then that may be good enough.
So if you're not used to charging your phone everyday, you either get back to the old 3310 or start accepting reality. cheers!
