AnonD-76843, 22 Oct 2012is this phone already release in Malaysia ?There won't release this phone in Malaysia and Singapore market (confirmed by Samsung through my query), as apparently they think we can pay more for two phones instead of a 2-in-1.
Problem is, sometimes it's a not a matter of whether we can afford it or not, it's the convenience that dual-sim phones offers. This is the only dual-sim phones that comes with a front cam, which is needed by some of us old-school fellas to stay in touch with family and relatives alike.
Anyway, if you wan this phone in Malaysia, it's already available as AP set. Look for it in Mudah and Lelong, sme even offer 2-year warranty. Around RM850-950 range now, dropping fast.

P/S: Samsung you just lost a potential big dual-sim market here and in Singapore.

can dis phone be used with one sim only? will it have any problems like low battery capacity if u use only one sim or anthing like dat? what will happen if only one is used? and when is the samsung galaxy s3 mini releasing in india?

S Duos has VGA front camera
If you are not concerned about this, go for HTC Desire V, it has Beats Audio sound enhancement for sound lovers.
I like the looks of S Duos and the price is cheaper than HTC Desire V. There are lots of apps to enhance the sound quality of S Duos.

I bought this phone on 18th instant.I am 1st time user of smart android phone so I got following querries is anybody can guide me.
(1)Only quick start guide is supplied with phone no full manual/cd not available with this phone.How to get it? please guide.
(2)I got help from Samsung call center for setting/changing ring tone assignment but now message alert tone is missing and also is there any facility to assign particular tone to group?if so please help me for both.
(3) How to minimise batter drain?Please help me.

I have purchase this phone one week back, overall performance of the phone is good, but I get one major problem with this phone is that when I gone under sunlight I cannot call to anyone and cannot receive the call also, because the contacts are not visible to sunlight, there fore I requested Samsung company to give me some valuable advise to overcome this problem, oterwise, I request all my friends not to bye this phone so that they also not face the same problem.

its a good phone but speed is very slow, and listening music also problem on this phone. i purchased this phone before 15 days but i am not satisfied for this.
