SID, 26 Sep 2012I got this phone through samsung estore prebooking 2 days back.
1. I paid 17900 but now see... moreafter installing APP2SD application also .unable to move installed apps from phone to SD card.
Some please help if you have done.

1. I paid 17900 but now seems it is available for around 16.5k only as most of guys claimed here.
2. The battery backup is just ok (drawback)
3. music is ordinary
4. camera quality is fine
5. touch sensitivity is very nice
6.couldn't find option to move installed apps from phone to SD card
Overall didn't met my expectations.

Engineer, 25 Sep 2012I bought it on Sunday and it is amazing dual sim smartphone in this era......this Samsung gala... morehello, can u further clarify the dual active thing? i mean how does it work? is it something like -
1)u have to activate dual active setting in this phone? (specifications say its a dual stand by phone)
2)does it charge on every call transfer or waiting? how is it?
3)what are the charges?

helllo, Mr. Engineer - can u please clarify about dual active thing? as far as i understood - this phone is dual stand-by but it has an option of activating dual active. and if you do so you are charged for every call that is transfered. Right? expecting a clarification soon.

Bought this phone yesterday and it works fine so far. I did not realsize any battery issues upon normal use. I am sure upon extensive use like 3G, Gamings etc, battery should take its toll. voice quality, camera and applications are working fine. Skype video calling is okay.I was able to get this for 16.3K ,which i think is a good deal. Keep in mind that this is not a high end smart phone, so if you have a realsitic expectation , this phone is going to suite you well.

on board memory is actually 2gb but on the feature list it has been mentioned as 4gb please correct it

Did u try disable your call diverting. Or did you try calling from sim1 to sim2 using same phone. Quoted by "Engineer1980" said its dual active.
Dear all owner, please do me a favor try to using your same phone calling from sim1 to sim2 number. See if sim2 will receive call or not. ONLY DUAL SIM ACTIVE phone can be done such away.
PLEASE THOSE WHO DOES NOT OWN THIS PHONE or not tested the method as I said don't not post your valuable comment!

this is to good dual smart phone in samsung but i dont understant dual standby because indian goverment ban to dual standby phone so what is mean.....

I am sharing my hand-on experience . As far battery is concerned it is not more than 4.5 hours and even the Samsung dealear @ G.K-II , New Delhi has confirmed this....

There is no battery back up issue with this as of using this smartphone from last Sunday.......btw there is no confusion that it is an dual sim active nothing like call forwarding ....u can go to live demo and get clear..
