only drawback of this mobile is that it came in single colour, i.e. in white. Samsung should launch the mobile in different colour which are being sold in market more, like grey, black etc.

finally n officially it is announced today on 20th august 2012 with price INR 17000/- .it may be avilable on market till last week of august

I love the introduction of this phone......simply because it's an exact replica in terms of specs to the HTC Desire V which I was about to purchase. While I've always had a close affection for Samsung products, considering the similarities between the phones the HTC Desire V have the edge with a larger battery, better audio (as of now)and a smaller footprint at 9.3mm. Where Samsung needs to compete is at price, the HTC Desire V is on the market at around USD 315 so let's hope the Korean company is listening.

Vasan, 20 Aug 2012HTC Desire V has a better battery backup other futures are equal with desire VFrom what I have checked so far - HTC Desire V does not have a compass, so will not be usable for navigation - other than that apart from the slightly better battery on the HTC no difference between the two

Only drawback is the adreno 200 gpu.
Talktime and standby is not given yet.
So i guess the battery backup and price will play a major role in the popularity of this phone. Waiting eagerly to launch in india at a affordable price.
