guys. what about the battery of GSII? how long will it last for standby and for talk time?
Overall a well built phone. Fastest processor available (currently) for Android and Apple. Probably because Samsung is one of the manufacturer's for Apple's A5 processor. The Gorilla Glass makes the device more durable than others with glass screens. Gingerbread operating system is great but really should be looking to the first of the year when 4.0 is being released (not for just the nexus). GREAT benefit is the ability to do customize the OS to much more than apps on a screen. A big controversy over Android Vs. iPhone is being locked to iTunes. Apps make Android able to pull the music you have downloaded to iTunes without cost to the consumer. Also SIRI is not that great of a release. There are apps available on the Android app market that do the same thing. For the "Business-on-the-go" consumer, document editing on the Samsung makes it easy to fill and sign .pdf and word documents. I am open to opinion about these topics.
Anonymous, 03 Nov 2011or even HTC Titan. It doesn't have gorilla glass either. You do realize that Gorilla Glass is more durable than the glass installed on the HTC devices?
Karate Obachi, 03 Nov 2011Here's my priorities (in order): - Gorilla Glass - 1.5GHz dual core - MicroSD card slot - ... moreYou should be looking at the LG Optimus LTE/LG Eye. It's coming out in Canada at the end of November.
Galaxy Note leaves it behinds. I thinks its the perfect smartphone (a bridge between smartphone and tablet). It would have added milestone if it had Ice Cream Sandwich but, it will surely get an update so no problem.
Here's my priorities (in order):
- Gorilla Glass
- 1.5GHz dual core
- MicroSD card slot
- 1GB RAM
- 4.5" screen
- 720p (720 x 1280)
- ICS
- LTE
Anonymous, 03 Nov 2011YES, IT HAS Gorilla Glass! at least, it's not gonna scattered in pieces like iphone.or even HTC Titan. It doesn't have gorilla glass either.
YES, IT HAS Gorilla Glass!
at least, it's not gonna scattered in pieces like iphone.
This should be a great phone, the breakdown in features vs. the Nexus is very interesting though, really can't say ones better than the other. Hopefully ICS will get ported to it soon, I can't see it NOT happening! You can bet I'll be down at my local ATT store to grab this on sunday though.
Anonymous, 03 Nov 2011GS2 LTE vs Droid Razr LTE GS2 9.5mm thin vs Droid Rarz 7.1mm thin GS2 1.5Ghz vs Droid Razr... moreThis phone is def not any kind of winner because it is low resolution. Couldn't see spending $250 on a low res phone. All it has is fast processor and LTE. It's like having a really big non-HD TV.
GS2 LTE vs Droid Razr LTE
GS2 9.5mm thin vs Droid Rarz 7.1mm thin
GS2 1.5Ghz vs Droid Razr 1.2Ghz
Who's the winner?
Here the video of the winner:
