arnel, 15 Oct 2011if i buy a phone like tmobile samsung galaxy s2, can i put my att simcard? You could unlock this particular phone to work on AT&T, but AT&T has their own Galaxy S II phone...it's a bit smaller and slower though
xxx, 16 Oct 2011any phone can be used with more than one carriers if you unlock the phone!
att and tmobile... moreOkay, it appears that the phone does indeed get 3G ON BOTH AT&T AND T-MOBILE USA (via one person's experience anyway)!
and in case xxx can't read, I present in picture format as well:
Not sure why the device didn't get 4G HSPA+ on both networks as the specifications alluded to (only got 4G on T-mobile apparently), but 3G on both is definitely a step in the right direction.
its rocking mobile ever samsung made in this affordable price. it works with at&t network also.....i eargly waiting for this...
any phone can be used with more than one carriers if you unlock the phone!
att and tmobile 3g network is not 2100mhz!!! att is 1900 and tmobile is 1700!!! omgggg!!!!!
arnel, 15 Oct 2011if i buy a phone like tmobile samsung galaxy s2, can i put my att simcard?Yes. This device uses 2100 frequency for 3G which is used by both AT&T and T-Mobile. It also uses the three 2G frequencies shared by both companies.

J, 14 Oct 2011Unless the specs on the box are wrong, then this phone indeed give you full T-Mo and AT&T ... moreyo bra! This phone is quad-bands phone for 2g network!!! Yes, it will work with ATT 2g network, but not the 3g network.
got it bra! lol. People just don't know the difference between 2g and 3g network.
this proccesor sucks man my g2x on 1.5 scores 5000+ on benchmarks all day . .and mines already behind the curve haha they shud have stuck to the exynos . either way tmo has nowhere near 42mbs anyways so it was a fail
this is the t-mobile S2 specs Band (frequency): 850 MHz;900 MHz;1800 MHz;1900 MHz;UMTS: Band I (2100);UMTS: Band IV (1700/2100);UMTS: Band V (850)
xxx, 14 Oct 2011Attention all, for the last time!!
No, this phone does not support ATT 3g network!!! ATT 3g... moreUnless the specs on the box are wrong, then this phone indeed give you full T-Mo and AT&T (USA) support.
Quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900mhz) AND Quad-band 4G UMTS/HSPA+ 42 (Band I, II, IV, V)
We can go back and forth, but the only way to know for sure is if someone gets the unlock code and pops in an AT&T SIM.
TxB, 13 Oct 2011Just got mine today so here's some stuff you might wanna know from what I got so far:
Good:... moreThe factory firmware is laggy because of the bloatwares they pre-installed on the phone. Third party firmwares are always better!!!
the phone is super thin already bra. You want it to be paper thin? nonsense. You think people look and care about the look of your phone? I dont think so. Buying a phone is different from buy a car bra. Car you need good exterior. Phone you don't. Don't talk down on this beautiful work of technology.
Attention all, for the last time!!
No, this phone does not support ATT 3g network!!! ATT 3g network frequency is 1900mhz!!! tmobile 3g network frequency is 1700mhz!!! therefore, it can only work with EDGE(2g) on ATT!!!!!!
Fast processor, highest ghz, fastest network speeds & one of biggest screens. Best of the Galaxy S IIs. The Exynos processor in the other variants is barely faster. However, the (up to) 42mbps download speeds of this device is exceptionally faster than the international GS2, as well as AT&T's and Sprints. What's more, this device can be used on both AT&T and T-Mobile. The best "all around" mobile phone on the market, across the board.
