your data wil be enable if u r in the area of 3g i mean wdmc.. If u r not n range to 3g booster ur wdmc wil not working. U can use jst 2g.. In ur above notification bar select the data and hold ur finger on the data option and then select ur mbl network to gsm/wdmc auto. Tnx!

unlocked based from eBay..sim based android 4.4.2..every... moreTry to get reliance rge ruc sim from reliance web world. This is some sort of global sim card. This card works well with data and voice both for imported CDMA mobiles.
Check ur sim card. This is probably rec ruc which doesnt support data on imported phones.

I can confirm this device DOES work on gsm networks, you can make calls, send sms and use data, the only con is that you can't make use of the 3G connection, it only connects on 2G (EDGE) which is not as fast, but is not that slow either.
