Verizon is a cdma network but use SIM card for LTE data. so you can use it on any GSM network.the phone is already unlock if you are running 4.x.x android version.

I am tr... moreI have one and had it unlocked and have used it with a T-Mobile and a Simple Mobile sim card in it and use it daily with the Simple Mobile Sim and all works and was very easy to find a person to apply the codes to my phone. so they must work on both systems.

[deleted post]You cant. As it says right there the phone is CDMA which is to say not GSM. In other words there is no sim card to replace. None. I own it and I can tell you there isn't even a slot for one where the slot usually goes so that's pretty much a dead end.
