I bought this phone for intern use only wifi. And the mp3 music app.. it connects to wifi . But no android aps update or work.

I just got one of these for free last week, it's a bit cracked but otherwise works totally fine. The S3 feels really good in the hand to use

I am STILL using this cell phone! Yup, it's 7/28/2020. Bought it in 2012, 8 yrs running. To say that it still works great is an understatement. I'd say I got my money out of it - hehe.

I have this phone too. Don't want to spend $500+ on a phone. Just found that LineageOS (https://lineageos.org/) has a download for the S3. Might try to install it over the weekend. My phone is starting to have more issues: reboots, gets hot when looking for but not connecting to wi-fi, camera fails at times - still original battery though (lasts a good portion of the day)!

I made the mistake of using a favorite picture for the lock screen background. Now I have a new phone and there is no way to retrieve the picture although it still shows up as the lock screen background. Otherwise battery life was abysmal and Verizon programs were relentless with intrusion. I hated this phone.

Sameer, 10 Apr 2017 I want to buy Samsung s3 SGH l747. It would be good or notI wouldn't unless it comes sim unlocked. Otherwise it's a decent phone with an unlocked bootloader for custom roms. Even so, I would go with newer hardware.
