I have SAMSUNG SGH-I747, With Icecream Sandwitch Operating System. I am unable to upgrade to JELLY BEAN, can you guide me the steps to do it.
I know there are 2 models in S3
1. SGH- I747 ( I need the procedure for this model)I have AT&T mobile with me
2. SGH- I9300

You can only update on some carriers, My carrier is Rogers and I updated my phone like 2 months ago

why is my phone not being upgraded to 4.1.2? tried everything mobile data connection wifi and kies.
still no updates are available.
in any case it is very later as the its couterparts like the 9300 have been given that update long ago.
why is samsung doing this?

Anonymous, 13 Aug 2013I got the 4.1.2 via Kies.I am in india, using this model with Vodafone usim in it.
i still dont have any options to update to 4.1.2, not from ota or kies.
is there something i'm doing wrong?

anon, 09 Aug 2013Even the galaxy grand has received 4.2.2, when wil this phone get any updates?It will probably not get 4.2.2 and will go directly to 4.3 as stated by Samsung before.

i have this phone from USA but i didn't have 4g network in my country ,the connection is very bad maybe its just compatible with at&t network 4g
if any body have answer for this please thanks
