I can use this phone for almost 32 hours on a charge and that's using it casually, it is am amazing phone best sgs to come out so far.

I have the NA version I747M and after recent software update to 4.0.4, my battery have been awesome. My SGS3 battery will drop only 11% after 13 hours of on time.This include combination of standby and phone calls and event input into calendar, etc. I discover that If your phone is on standby mode, it would hardly drop 1%. I can charge my phone every 3 days based on my usage pattern. Also, with a removable battery, this is really not a big deal.

I though i would be able to get a day comforatbly, but a few times, ive had to charge it 2-3times in the day.
I guess that what happens wen you take an ineffiient/power hungry OS and combine it multiple cores...

the battery is ok... not really the best one, for me if i go out from my house to work at 8am in the morning and with moderate usage it gets to about 5pm and its like 5% left of battery life. i bought a battery extender and i get a full day.

ben, 05 Sep 2012isn't it quad-core 1.4 GHz ?No... US was not lucky to get a quad core but they were given extra RAM. And other regions were given only 1gig ram with a quad core.

As far as to why you can't send a text message... My crystal ball is broken, so I can't tell you why you can't send a text message from your nonexistent S111
