AnonD-14017, 07 Apr 2013Ohkay...i think am ok with locking and unlocking my app default way...although wud love to hav... moreThere's problem with home screen app a.k.a touchwiz home. Firstly, remove some widgets like whether widget, S-suggests, game-hub, music widget etc then restart the device.
If the error persists, you should try this:
1. download and install launcher app from Google Store such as Nova launcher or GO Launcher EX. Set this launcher as default home screen.
2. Since Touchwiz now is inactive, you can clear its data: go to settings - manage applications, choose All tab, scroll down to find Touchwiz Home (or Home Touchwiz), select then tap clear data.
3. Then switch from All tab to Downloaded tab and find the launcher app icon that currently being used, open then select clear default.
4. Tap home button then set Touchwiz Home as default. And let see if this works.

Hey Gris,i have not installed any such app...i guess i will have to stop the messages my network provider sends...also i get this annoying error many times sayin,"unfortunately home touchwiz is not working"something like this...plz help.

In specification there is TV OUT. But in different places i saw that this tab can not be connected with tv as it does not support HDMI. can anyone tell me that is it really possible to connect P3100 with TV???

i think i will also wait for 4.2 release and take my tab to samsung c... moreHmm.. there's maybe a free app (which is supported or sponsored by provider) who sent it. For such app the only way to stop is by removing it. I had the same problem before, after installing a mobile magz app I kept receiving push messages, it stopped after I uninstalled it.
With Screen Off Pro app you can activate screen lock or turn on/off lock screen just by waving your hand on the proximity sensor. It's just looks cool that you can turn off the screen without touching your tab. I'm using similar app called Cover Lock.

You can't update your samsung directly to step 5 if it hasn't received update step 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Well at least I know what I will do when jelly bean 4.2 release: taking my tab to pre school then primary school then high school before installing JB 4.2 or KLP 5.0. :P

AnonD-3744, 06 Apr 2013Oops...! :D haha ...ya I remember now..., I was browsing sammobile website and read a news abo... moreIf u r using ICS and want to update OTA to jb 4.1.2 then u have to download 205m.b file Which will land u up with the updated version of ICS , no changes (Disappointment).Then again u have to download 255M.B Of file which will update the tab to jb 4.1.1 and again u have to download 160 M.B of file in order to update 2 jb4.1.2.......
I was in jb 4.1.1 so it took me only 160M.B :) B)
