Anonymous, 27 Mar 2013Good. How many hours it take for updation? I tried twice but takes lot of time. OTA updation ... moreit just took 30-40 mins for me to update thru kies.

hey you able to update with kies.. ?i am trying to update the same with samsung kies latest version .but when i click on firmware update , the whole firmware is conplately even, but after downloading , device automatically reconnect in kies and it prompts me for once again for firmware downlaod.. and same situation repeats.i have also tried to kept device on flight mode, even tick on usb debugging mode. . but not succeed. kindly help

Yesterday I have updated my tab from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2...But there is no much changes I have found...paper artist,group play,play music,smart stay and good changes in gallery..I have found only this much after spending 2 hrs for updation..but any ways i got the update...samsung is doing good for this phone..just waiting for last update 4.2.2 which will receive end of the year.

Hi, just today my galaxy tab2's screen turned off so I thought of turning it on and notice that it wasn't turned off and when I push the lock button the screen just flashes in second eventhough the battery is charged, if only I could take off its battery to restart it.

Galaxy Tab 2 3100 Wifi use far more power and drains battery faster. Even if you keep the power save option on and screen brightness to half, you'll face the problem.
