indy, 24 Mar 2013Hi all please help me on this, my galaxy tab 2 p3100 is hanging up and restarting all by it... morebad apps can cause that problem. uninstall some last apps that you install if that doesn't works and still have problem then backup your data, factory reset your tab. start fresh :)

its battery back up is good just like other android devices from samsung upto 24 hours

I regret after buying Samsung tab 2, the prices dropped by 8% within 5 days of my purchase, takes hours to charge and the battery gets over within 14 hours of average use. I didn't get the satisfaction I expected.

(not the talk time... moreIt has an amazing battery backup. 5-6 hours easily on wifi. downloads/browsing/chat/skype...u just name it. was using the karbonn cosmic tab 10 before this which was much more fast and fluid. had to ditch it for the poor display resolution. this one suits the purpose. on the downside..it take around 2.5 hours to charge fully. however totally worth it.

If you use it for normal use, it will get you about 7/8 hours, but if you use it heavily, the battery will drain up quicker. If you seeks for a tablet that has high battery endurance, then I recommend the iPad mini. iPad mini will get you about 10 hours through heavy use. iPad jini has greater value for the same price.

AnonD-14017, 23 Mar 2013Ok Gris,how and where can i download those languages?and also i want my tab to catch exactly w... moreI want to correct a little on my last post: it is voice recognition engine - not application - and it is being part of android system. This, and language data for offline speech input utility can be found under language and input settings in settings menu.
In language and input settings, tick Google voice typing then tap the setting icon next to it to enter google voice setting window; choose input language and select a language. Next tap download offline speech recognition to install language data. The last option is not available in my ICS tab, so I don't know how much space it will take for this file.

AnonD-14017, 23 Mar 2013Thanks Gris,my mobo player and voice to input problem is solved now although it does not catch... moreDownloaded language package is required to use voice input method in off line mode (including English), it doesnt make the system become more accurate to recognize your speech, since this function is handled by another app - voice recognition.
Well, about data usage app, in my tab I noticed that no matter where I put the white bars, they still go back to show data usage in the last 7 days. Yesterday the graphic showed data usage from date 15-22 Mar, today it shows 16-23 Mar. Tomorrow it must be 17-24. So we have to drag the lines manually to the desired dates to check data usage more correctly. The use of data usage cycle perhaps is you can compare your current month data usage with the usage in the prev months.
Personaly I dont think I need another task manager app. Android task manager/ RAM manager is already good since ICS version, if you want to free some more memory you can go to settings - application manager then select Running tab at the above, if there are downloaded apps still running, you can stop them from there. (Note that certain apps may restart themselves after you stopped)
