great experience with JellyBean 4.1 official rom.
Battery lifes improved, camera clarity now improved, same with camera video.
less lag, no hangups.

rayaj, 08 Dec 2012it is good to use tab 2? convenient to use ba? tnx pls do reply because im still confused If you do not mind for a little bigger size you should go for Galaxy Tab 7.7.
It has higher specs and basically is better off. Price should not differs much.
With latest official ICS firmware release hence it is pretty much up to date.

The rest of the ram memory remains reserved for the os.. I mean for Android itself..
Ur application and general purpose ram allowance remains the same u said.. Something about 697 mb..

Been using this device for approximately 6 months,the best tab for me so far,daily calls,messaging,surfing and most importantly excellent battery life,just awesome and would recommend it to others..

ART CRUZ, 07 Dec 2012sir, how did you managed to install 4.2.1, is that a custom rom? Is it CM10? Pls advise.Hello ART, my update is done OTA. It takes about 6 or 7 minutes. And BTW I am using the Google Nexus 7. Sorry for any misunderstanding if there is any. I came to this Tab2 forum because I want to read some comment. BTW I am looking for a quad core 7 inch tablet with voice call. Can't seems to find any. If you have any info please let me know.Cheers.

Home wifi is terrific for internet radio using Pandora and connecting to the internet using Google is ok but nowhere near my laptop/desktop, however connecting outside the home wifi such as Starbuck, Panara and even hotel wifi is easy but once connected surfing the web is poor and unreliable at best. At hotels where many use the wifi connection can be unreliable depending on how many people are connected. I connected to Southwest Airlines website for checking in but was fortunate because when I tried again the website was extremely slow and unstable and I was not able to connect. Graphics such as meteorology models for long range prediction come in great at home but outside my home wifi it absolutely will not connect. The bottom line is home wifi works great but elsewhere I would not recomment. Instead subscribe to a telephone line.
I was disappointed I could not find an online manual to learn how to navigate. Apple has terrific instructions online for their products and Samsung should provide and online manual. Otherwise the tablet is good for emails but only when using the home wifi.
