JP, 12 Oct 2012How is the portability of this tab .... I am undecided as to weather to go for the 7 inch or 1... more I m using samsung tab2... i fihd it very nice....... all mention features make it a wonderful ...
Now lets see issues:
1. No flash in cam... very poor video quality.
2. Battery backup is poor. Get discharge very fast.
3. Battery charger .. cord length is very short.. so u cant use it while charging.. and it takes very long time 2 charge.
If u avoid above points.. my suggestion is go 4 it...

ART CRUZ, 13 Oct 2012yes, can read office files, i tried to open ms word 2007, excel, all works fine...but which is better? this tablet or samsung netbook? im confused and im planning to buy next month. i'm a college student and i badly needed those things such as ms word and powerpoint.

How's the screen display? Is it clear because it has only 170ppi which is very low ppi (pixel per inch). I plan to buy this next week and my concern is its screen display.

This device is not connected to my lcd tv via usb and ism not sure to this device is support av out cable or hfmi cable

FYI, mali 400 still being used in the latest note 2" i was talking about tab 2 7.0 first, then only i talked about 7.0+. Then i talked about note 2 is still using mali 400 means mali 400 is still a great gpu n NOT powerVR SGX540..
If u have 7.0+ & tab 2 7.0, try to take picture. Which one is better? Just keep it to your self, not to mention if taking picture in no light or low light which 1 is better.
Pricing wise, frankly speaking, i am not a cheapo so i dont mind paying extra 20% if i can take a better picture, faster cpu speed and a great gpu.
Last advice..read carefully & understand before u misunderstand something..

Vix, 12 Oct 2012how is its battery backup. how much time it can spend while playing media?It depends on your settings like display, if normal display like set to auto. i think around 7-8hrs.

Easily managebly with one hand on planes trains shops etc. Can quickly check things or take a picture use qrdroid etc one handed without having to put anything down or set on a surface etc

Geetam, 12 Oct 2012ram is 687 mb not 1 gbyes, because it uses other system memory. but it still managed to run smoothly on hd games...

Anyway..the difference is so much in philipines? In malaysia its just al little. Tab 7.0+ is rm1350 & tab 2 7.0 is rm1200. Unfortunately since the launch of tab 2 7.0, tab 7.0+ is no longer being sold. Thats y i said i am lucky to have 7.0+. That is after i upgrade to ics, before that it was just ok...after upgrade the performance is superb! Wait till jelly bean update.. It will come to tab 7.0+ & tab 2 7.0 sooner or later.
