Many tabs do not have calling function, the only support 3g network for data services..... not sure if the coming tabs will have calling..

and i want to ask you about the ram as my tab shows 697 ... moredude the ram is 1gb but it shows 697 coz the remaining is system reserved, i.e. for Android OS. This 697 is user ram for running any applications....

Got this 4 days ago. So far, so good. Pretty amazing performance at its price. Fast and snappy. Baterry is great considering heavy use.

P3100 can smoothly downloaded 3 to 4 tube videos at the same time without any lagging with Tubemate. MX video player,Mobo player and V player with zooming facillity work best on this tablet instead of the default video player (which lack supporting some HD video formats causing Force closured).

I have been using tab 2 for past 15 days and it a great device. good battery life for me last 2 days with low phone calls and heavy 3g usage for emails.
I have read lot of feedback mentioning no usb charging from pc but i have never seen this issue of course device does not show charging status still charges @slow rate. using the samsung supplied usb cable to connect to my laptop

Hi everyone i bought this Tab a week back.I would recommend this tab who are interested in this.very smooth performance.good display.Awesome battery standby.Can play HD games and videos smoothly.up to the expectation for this price range.Dont wait go for it.you not get disappointed.

Which of these is BETTER and WHY :
Samsung Galaxy Tab P3100 vs Samsung Galaxy Tab 6200.
This is what I have observed(though my observation could be wrong ) :
1) It seems they have reduced processor power in New P3100 from 1.2 Ghz Dual Core(P6200) to 1 GHz Dual Core(in P3100).
2)The front facing camera seems to have become VGA for P3100 instead of 1.3 MP of P6200.
3)Their seems to be be no autofocus,flash in the main camera in P3100 ??
4)Earlier P6200 seems to be thinner than P3100.
Although P3100 runs on Icecream sandwich,for me it seems specs of earlier P6200 are better.
At the same time it seems Samsung is more interested in promoting P3100 instead of P6200.Why ?
So much so that in India P6200 seems to vanished from Ebay.in !
So which one to buy ?

I have been using this device frm arndna mnth....android 4 is really smooth and touchviz really improves it immeasurably.....screen is fyn...infct it ismperfect fr me.....although i use s2.....
I use auto brightness.....i rarely ever switch to max brightness....
Flash suport cmes out f the box....
Battety life is awesome.....i use wify and 2g data...lasts 2 days f medium to heavy usage.....i read bux on it....awesome experience....
16+32gbs f memory....
Its wrth extra 4k.....fr memory and sim support even though its nt quad energy....
Wrks smooth.....has never hanged or gotten slow....the stock browser too is gud....
I wud suggest its a gud buy......m satisfied.....thoroghly enjoying the experience.....

For what purpose u want this device.But this tab have sim, microsd card slot so u can feel smart phone and use otg u can connect flash drive.can download and install hd games playing very smooth.View and edit any office documents also.Watching hd movies very awesome on this tab I have tried many video format like mkv, avi,3.gp,playing very smooth.web experience also impressive very fast loading built in stock browser u can also download and install ur favorite browser from Google play so u can feel laptop experience at this tab.Camera also impressive with latest 3.15mp rear capture hd quality.When .pdf viewing very awesome on this tab.I don't know what ur exceptation but this price range u can't find another branded tablet pc with latest android preloaded so u can go for it.
