As I said, it depends on the country from where you purchased the unit. No matter where you bring the unit, it's update will still go back to its mother country where it was released.

Gris i really really appreciate ur detailed explaination and the efforts u take to reply and be helpful to all the people posting their queries here....what do u suggest,shud i get my tab 4.1.1 upgraded?and abt ghost app...i did try it out but nothing happens..just the dots keep moving inside the circle :)..i was wondering if it cud be bcoz of the sensors being covered by my screen guard?

Regular sim is the one used with the first Alcatel GSM phone FYI.

use only dolphin brawser really fast or
or uc brawser mini not uc brawser its a super fast brawser this is best for slow net who used 2g net in tab or mobile

Check first the availability of the update from the country where your unit is bought and registered.
Not all countries receive the update at the same time.
Unless you want to root it and loose the warranty, you can download the update from unknown sources and go ahead at your own risk.

hy guys i have this tab holding version 4.0.3(Ice Cream Sandwich) i want to update it to 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean)... when i go to settings > about device > software update > update(check for updates)it starts connecting to server. after this it said no update available... plz help me whats the problem and how to update it to jeally bean..thnx

All you have to do is press on the back key and the keyboard will be minimized.
As simple as that!
