Open the browser and enter its settings menu. Highlight Advanced option at the left and choose Privacy then tap Clear Browsing Data option on top page.
No, I haven't yet upgraded to jb. I tried gal note8 the other day at a store to see how jb would be looked like on this tab, but this short experience was unable to convince me that I should upgrade mine. Just my personal thought. Maybe I will buy another phone or tablet with jb preinstalled, I dunno... (my wallet said : no way!)

If u hv or going to upgrade ur device to 4.1.2 then it comes with the upgraded package, otherwise u can download it from Google play store.
There is only one problem for all music players in 4.1.2 that there is no exit button, u hv to end the application from task manager.
If anyone can tell me how can I exit music player without ending it in task manager?

jajiy, 12 Jun 2013How's the phone after the 4.1.2 update?Ha ha, not the 4.1.2 update. It only gets the Android 4.1.1 update. Don't worry, not everyone can be smart... classic rookie mistake. To answer your question: It runs a lot more smoothly after the update, but it takes up more RAM during normal use. You will also end up with less user memory than before, because Android Jelly Bean brings more features to your device (Like project butter)...

I am using tab 2 for last 9 months, around 2 months back I did software update.
Now its eating my memory like anything.
When I go to storage then it shows description for only around 6GB instead of 12GB.
Can someone help me to understand the reoson and how I can see all hidden memory and free it?

i have this tab for 6 months now and i love it...
im still on ICS cause apparently there is no OTA update of JB on my country (yeah right). it came to my attention that the upgrade is being done on samsung costumer service... so i updated it.
what i just noticed about JB is that it's UI is not as proportion and orderly as compared as ICS. it looks like an S3 on a 7 incher which is really really bad.

m also using same tablet, I m sure that its not a fault of ur tablet.
check ur data plan/ Internet providers terms, I am sure it has to do something with them.
U can buy a good datamplan which provides u a good speed.

I purchased my gtp3100 in October 2012 and upgraded to 4.1.2 in December 2012, initially I felt it less promising than 4.1.1 but after some time I became used to it and now I felt its really a good upgrade. ..for snapshot u can press volume down and power key simultaneously for some seconds.
The problem which I found is that sometimes it hangs (nearly once in a month), and then I hv to press power key for some time to switch it off, this is not upgrade related problem as I encountered it also before upgrade.
The power cable from charger is also very short and charger is not designed very well, I broked the small part of my charger which has got metal rods for power socket, but as wires inside it are not damaged so it is still functioning.
Now m waiting for 4.2 upgrade, plz samsung launch it very soon.
