Then go to their service center and say that you want to upgrade your Galaxy Tab 3 Lite from Jellybean 4.2 to Kitkat 4.4. Im not 100% sure that all samsung android phones can be upgrade to kitkat but Im pretty sure that all samsung android phones are upgradeable. :) you can also ttry the system updates on your phone.

OTA update with 136MB in size. Download but installation failed due to an unknown error. Have you experience this too? I'm from PH.

why cant this tab take Sim Card?.....its so nice for it not supporting sim..people might have doubts to buy it based on the fact that it does not take SIM CARD. Pls upgrade this tab indeed it must take sim.

Unfortunately, that's why I bought it.

I have the walmart galaxy tab 3 lite. Please make an update to fix these issue:
Heating issue get really hot when playing games. Battery charging takes to long to charge.
Battery life at least a 12 hours even playing games.
Wi-fi takes 5 secs when clicking on .
Browser is slow please update

There is also a 3G version (T111), but it's significantly more expensive. Not everybody needs mobile internet and wants to pay more for it.
