Seeing that this device uses the same CPU and very much similar hardware as the Tab 3 7.0" (T-210R) gives me hope that we will see an update to KitKat someday.
I did notice something curious, is this model limited to 32GB expansion? I'm using a 64GB Micro SDXC card on my Tab 3 without an issue as it's officially supported by the hardware (and software as outdated as it may be) Still, I liked my Tab 3 as it has done most everything I've asked of it and never had a single issue with it.
I am glad to see the screen resolution get a slight bump upwards if those numbers are right but still the lack of an autofocus rear camera is really hurting this tablet vs. the competition. At least a 5MP with 1080p video capture would be a step in the right direction.
I have been working with this tab for about a week and I may say that it is quite a nice model in terms of design, but it performs quite bad taking into account the "high specs" that it packs, Samsung made a really poor job with android kitkat on this tablet, you can notice it more while playing, not even candy crush goes well, I'll be waiting for custom roms because Im pretty sure I bought good hardware, by the way, dont even think about activating ART, the tablet wont boot and you'll have to factory reset the tablet via bootloader...
I have purchased this tab, it's camera is really poor but I have found one more problem in it, that it does not give the current location but it gives the location which you demand
This lags more than my galaxy tab 2.
Not even a flash added
Poor samsung, how much would u save by not adding a flash to it.
Rip samsung.Your days have come..
This tablet runs games slower than my tab 2. Has serious issues while gaming.
very nice. I do like it. it is a top brand. but expecting upgrad camera and flash.
Awesome performance, fast and does have similar card slot,3G connectivity is great.awesome just a tip to all new buyers, prefer to buy from retailers coz online shopping may coz u loses in terms of rates highlighted.its cheaper when u buy from shops, at least for time being.
memopad hd 7 is best ....quick responsive ...awesome display...zero percent lag...and imp thing is.....its cheaper
I have the Tab 3 7.0. The new Tab 4 has a slightly better screen and a quad core vs dual core processor. Still no flash and the camera has not been upgraded. The Nexus 7 second gen is a better specification but the Galaxy has a micro SD card slot, up to 64Gb, which is a huge advantage IMO. With these specs it is not really worth upgrading from a Tab 3 so I will wait for Tab 5.
Please put a Flaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaash ..... come on i was expecting to buy this ... not again...
