The best tablet for you is Samsung tab s 8.4 or 10.5 according to you .It was realesed in 2014 with Samsung s5.It has android 4.4.2 upgradable to android 6.0.1. Update may vary depending on your model number .It runs on Touchwiz. if you want a flavor of new samsung infrences then Samsung tab a 2018. It runs on android 8.1 Oreo and is upgradable to android 10 one UI. If you want a iPad the option for you is iPad 8 gen 2020. It runs on iOS 14.

HEVC( 265) hardware video decoding doesnt work for me with this model despite the chipset Exynos 7904 claiming support. Does anyone know if sammy simply didnt support it via there firmwares ?

It's like $50 more and it's faster with more ram, a chip that's quite a bit better, 850 mAh in extra battery life, increased base storage, and a lot more. Even before the discount, when the price was like $200 more, I think it's worth the extra money.

For the current price it is really nice. It is slow launching apps; and with just 2GB RAM it keeps unloading background apps. But Tab S6 Lite is almost 2x times pricier.

Galaxy tab 10 ais fine,but I am unable to go to other app unless I close the tab,restart and go to desired app.Pl let me know how can I switch from one app to another without closing the tab
