Su, 07 Apr 2022Does it support multiple users?with the latest update, yes (configured it such way yesterday)
Its good for a budget tablet
Does it support multiple users?
Good brand name entry-level tablet. The 2Gb version is a little slow when moving between apps and webpages. Likely much better if you have 3Gb of RAM. Otherwise, fine for the price.
I've had this tablet for a while now -- and it's a decent tab.
It's not excellent, but it gets the job done. I will be upgrading to an ipad, since I'm an artist - and this tab doesn't do what I need it to when it comes to art.
But it's still good for YouTube, browsing the internet and that kind of stuff. If that's what you need a tablet for - this is a good choice.
Good entry tablet. Now March 2022 still in great shape, battery also still good. Bought one for my father who only use it for youtube and now my daughter uses it obvious for youtube too. Can watch youtube from day to night no problem.
I bought two 3gb 64gb tablets in march/april 2020, and still working very fast after all software updates....
SomeoneWhoNeedsHelp, 23 Jan 2022Hey, I want to go back to one ui 1.1, android 9 because it ran the best for me. Android 10 and... moreYeah you are right. Android 10 and above is not very suitable for this tablet. I brought mine to smartphone shop. I also tried it myself but I almost bricked it downgrading to android 9
Zerk, 01 Jul 2021I eventually found the updated Android 11 rom on samfw.com (very fast download speeds), and do... moreHey, I want to go back to one ui 1.1, android 9 because it ran the best for me. Android 10 and 11 are really slow in this tab for me. Can you guide me or send a link of a video which explains to do the same?
I got this SM-T515 Tab A ,brand new with a plan on 9th December 2020. I initially liked it for watching You Tube, sending & receiving email as well as whatsapp connecting friends on a semi regular basis, but 13 months later the screen just dropped out completely. The carrier phone agent that signed me up with a 36 months plan including that device, does not want to know about the SM-T515 problem, not even seeking a warranty that could have helped with repair/replacement costs. Now I am left with a very bad taste in my mouth about that brand .
I've had my Galaxy Tab A since 2019 and it's Jan 2022 and I have had NO problems at all with it. I bought the top of the line Galaxy it has the 128gb drive space with 3gb ram 10.1 in screen and its all I use on a daily bases infact I'm using it right now to do this review. So anybody having problems with it, I'm not sure what to tell you but absolutely love mine intact I'm just now looking for a micro SD card for it. Not that I need it I just want it and also just purchased a new case for it also. So no complaints here.
This tablet was born defective. It constantly freezes. Sent it back to samsung 3x and each time they said they fixed it when they did nothing. I tested out a few display models at stores and they all have same problem. Samsung knew it, but would not even offer me a replacement. That's why they made the tab a7 10.4, because it fixed this. But unfortunately it drops videos after 2 to 3 minutes in play.
To be honest this is a pretty trash device. Has almost the same speed as the 2016 model:
Tab A 10.1 (2016) Geekbench 5 MC: 450
Tab A 10.1 (2019) Geekbench 5 MC: 550
This sold for $300 in 2019, for only $30 you can buy an iPad which is almost 2.5x faster
iPad (2019) Geekbench 5 MC: 1450
Also dont expect to run more than 1 app at once with 2GB of RAM
Decent tablet personally, if youre just a student or person who does basic tasks, then this is good tablet
I've had the galaxy tab a for a year now. And I've already decided to upgrade to the galaxy a32 . Not because the performance was bad but because it was not enough. Keep that in mind if ur gonna buy this tab.
