Anonymous, 12 Dec 2016Use LocalCast app, solved my problemBut that doesn't work for screen mirroring and casting streaming audio.
We bought two and we are downright upset that we did. The tinny mono speaker really stinks (they expect us to use headphones or external speakers every time we want to watch a quick video? For this much money there should be stereo speakers). There are no sensors for auto brightness and auto screen timeout and no compass. But the thing that ticks me off the most is that it isn't compatible with Chromecast and it doesn't see/can't be seen by other Samsung devices such as Samsung Smart TV's and Blu-Ray players (Samsung's response to me is that it just wasn't designed to do these things). So forget about displaying pictures or videos anywhere other than the crummy screen this tablet has. We've head cheap no-name tablets that were much better in all these respects. However I will say that the RAM is ample enough to run several things at once, unlike some of the cheap generic tablets we've had, but the built-in 8GB storage fills up awfully quickly.
