I still use my Tab 4 8.0 daily since I bought it in 2015. The battery has degraded some, but still last a long time for my usage. I'm still going to buy this to replace my current Tab, but I wish it had 3 GB of RAM and a superior chipset (like the Snapdragon 625).
Adrien, 23 Sep 2017Stupid samsung! My Tab A 8.0 (2015) have the same spec with this, different just battery size ... moreIt's completety different , your old 2015 tablet is lower spec'd in every way. You get a 16:9 aspect ratio instead a your 4:3 , faster cpu performance, latest OS, HDR plus 1080p video, better cameras, faster dual wifi.
It's only been 2 years from yours, I think they've made good progressive improvements that is sufficient.
I own the 2016 7.0 tab a so i won't be upgrading any time soon.
When my tablet becomes dated , I''ll upgrade to the latest ,cheapest and smallest Tab A.

I've had the Tab A 2015 version, but have upgraded to the Tab s3, but I gotta say, without fast charging and more RAM this thing's gonna heat up within a year. Nice touch with the new Samsung Experience though.
finally my wait is over, hope price is not high, and hope will get oreo next year
after a looooooooooooong time finally a tab from samsung. it's screen size is best fore gaming
TABS are mostly used for watching movies, shouldn't the screen have better specs here
Why don't they make bezel less 7 to 7.5 inch premium tablet ? Why ? 8 inch is too big 6 inch too small
