But voLTE is not enabled by Samsung, so gonna be heada... morein the UK, 3G is only switching off...EE and Vodafone already switched off their 3G...2G will remain forever even if some networks say that their plan of switching off 2G is from 2033...2G is every important to calls/texts in rural areas and industrial/commercial applications like smart meters and other remote monitoring devices.

These are fine tablets, still in 2024.
But voLTE is not enabled by Samsung, so gonna be headache when 2G/3G shuts down...
Anyone knows how to enable it?

Hi, can anyone confirm if the buttons below the screen are backlit? There's is no backlight in my unit but I bought it as refurbished so I am not 100% sure wheter it is fully operational.

Tab Active 2: October 2017 (3 years later)
Tab Active 3: September 2020 (3 years later)
... 3 years again ...
Tab Active 4: September 2023?
It looks like an interesting tablet but I'm not buying one with the S9's processor in 2023 :P
Of course the 4 Pro came out last year but I would consider that a different range. For example the local police here in Spain seem to use the 8" model heavily in their cars (with a car mount) and I expect they wouldn't be happy to upgrade to a larger model.

Samsung should make a new Tab Active4 with Snapdragon 778G chipset. I'm not a fan of the Tab Active4 Pro's 10.1" display. 8" is perfect for me.

I bought the 577 with android 13 and could not get the unit to make or receive calls. The primary reason for this is that the 577 model does not have a slit opening for earphone speaker. I think they did this to improve the water seal rating. Even using headset didn't seem to bypass this limitation. Such a shame because the 577 can hold 2 sim cards and has the 128GB version. It's essentially like a data only tablet like Apple's mini w/ data cellular. I had to return the 577 and get the 575 model to make and receive phone calls. However, it holds only 1 sim card and is limited to the 4/64GByte version.

Now if I can figure out pogo pinout, and if usb is present will it support otg..
