Candy, 26 Feb 2017How is the Samsung Galaxy tab E 9.6 T561? pretty much all in 1 type of device...phone,pc,tablet,tv.
Anonymous, 29 May 2017Samsung are only interested in sales, so if you want an upgrade you need to buy a new one. Hav... moreTab E (exceptions are SM-T560NU, SM-T567, SM-T375 and SM-T377), Tab J, J1, J2, J3 are usually devices that were not designed to receive Android updates.
If your device ships Mediatek or Spreadtrum chipset, the chances of not getting Android updates are also great.
De game boy., 21 Sep 2016please it support 4G Only tem SM-T567.
But this model is tied to Verizon.
Hari Prasad, 09 Mar 2017It is not supporting the WhatsappSupports, yes.
And only you install the apk.
Bulbul, 13 Mar 2017Why my Samsung Galaxy Tab E SM-T560 is still stuck on KitKat 4.4.4?Because we have two types of Galaxy Tab E 9.6:
- Tab E 9.6 international (or original), with Spreadtrum chipset, 5000mAh battery and 8GB of internal storage. Not planned to receive Android updates, because of chipset.
- Tab E 9.6 exclusive to the United States and Canada (released three months after the original model, practically a Value Edition), with Snapdragon chipset, 7300mAh battery and 16GB internal storage.
Jabal, 13 Jun 2017Whats the problem with Samsung to upgrade this tablet? The problem has a name: Spreadtrum.
Anonymous, 25 Jul 2017Only t560nu model gets 6.0.1 updateAnd it looks like it will also get Android Nougat:
Don, 19 Aug 2017please, how can one distinguish between samsung tab E with snapdragon version and that of sp... moreSimple.
If yours is the SM-T560NU or the SM-T567, it is the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset model. It should already be on Android Marshmallow, it has 16GB of internal storage and 7300mAh of battery.
If yours is not those two, it certainly is the Spreadtrum chipset model. Certainly also it will be with Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

Be aware of Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 international version. because it is stuck at KitKat 4.4.4 and there will be no future updates.
Can anyone tell me how to take a snapshot with the galaxy tab e
Those unlucky people like me, please be aware that there are 2 versions for this tab. One snapdragon us version and other one spreadtrum. Snapdragon verson upgraded to 6.0.1. Spreadtrum version struck at 4.4.4 and there will be no further updates.
AnonD-640866, 02 Feb 2017Just got this for my wife the T560 and updated it 3 times now have 6.0.1 on it works fine no rootHi,
Can you tell your Tab model number from the "About Device" menu of the Settings.
Anand, 21 Jun 2017How did you manage to upgrade, can you please help me with the sameHi...by now you probably have it figured out....but if not...go to settings about device ...look at software information click on it there should be software update option...read my other comments on how to get the latest update...you can also just Google it ...type in the whole name brand like Samsung Galaxy Tab E with how to update the software...you will find all kinds of information about your tablet...even videos that will show you how to do it. You could also go straight to samsung website ...but probably better off with my first suggestion...My complaint I have is the have the nerve to offer the manual for the device and say it's unavailable in my language ( which is English lmao) and I do believe it says that in every language....which is pretty pathetic for a large company!!!! Why even add the option if it's not available. Anyways, Google is your best method for the help you need. You will figure it out eventually if you haven't already ;)
Rabz, 17 Jun 2017Its 4.4.4. So so frustrating. They sell it saying it has 5.1 lollipop. Sorry its a lie. It don... moreJust update your device...I think it's under "about this device" or click on settings and look and find search and just type in software update. Maybe you have the permission turn off ...there are many ways to get around in the tablet....sometimes I get lost lol...you think something of this size wouldn't be able to do some of the things that are available. It actually works for you and you have the ability to block every application and it may be blocked by the system default settings from the factory. I can't remember off the top of my head, but go on google to check how to update your tablet and be sure to specify the name of device like "how do I update the software on my Samsung Galaxy Tab E......" Hope this helps and just keep searching and you will love this tablet!!!
