S, 24 Mar 2018This is a very good table, BUT, it runs on android 4.4.4. It so out of date, as to be useless.... moreThis tab is such a waste. Works well after purchasing for around 6 months & afterwards start to lag or slow down. Samsung cheap products are totally cheap, worst tablet seen. Instead spend some more money and buy an ipad 6th generation which is useful and can be used for more than 3 years.
This is a very good table, BUT, it runs on android 4.4.4. It so out of date, as to be useless. The latest apps are incompatible. For the same money, you can buy an up to date model, as long as it's not samsung, who really do not care about there customers once you've bought the product.
It seems there is 2 version of Tab E 9.6
The U.S. version is thicker and bigger battery capacity.
US version - SM-T560NZKUXAR | 241.9 x 149.5 x 9.6mm | battery - Li-Ion 7,300 mAh
UK version - SM-T560NZWAXFA | 241.9 x 149.5 x 8.5mm | battery - Li-Ion 5,000 mAh
Makre sure it is ok.
I can only find the UK version protective case from this site which is a nice with design

Hassan , 21 Feb 2018Everything is perfect except its wifi signal capturing ability. Is it compatible with mhl to hdmi cable
I have tab E without SIM because has 5000 MAH I thought it would stay for long without sim ,, but it's very good battery life without sim.., this is why I recommended without sim
root, 07 Feb 2018root the tab an update patch romhow do you do that, are there any roms that supports this device?
Had mine since 2016. Great tablet for watching! Movies, documentaries, Game of Thrones, Anime, cartoons, this tablet does them justice on a mobile platform. Viewing angles are great, a very long lasting battery (mine lasts up to 5 days with 1-2 hour usage per day at 70% brightness). And that 16:10 aspect ratio?! Perfect.
If you are a fan of watching videos, this is the tablet for you.
The only bad thing with this tablet is its weight. It's very very very heavy. Don't use this like you would other tablets, wherein you're just holding them at your palm. You need an inclined rest for this.
AnonD-729789, 10 Jan 2018I need to set the record straight on this tablet. First, it has a 7200 mAh battery (not 5000 ... moreTo set the record:
There are two models.
S-530 - no upgrade 4.4.4 (and it never will be upgraded) but is still being sold.
(is being sold at same price as ACER One with 2GB, 32GB and OS 7.0)
S-531 - can be upgraded to 7.0.
Both have 5000mAh
Both have 1.5Gb Ram
Can have 8GB or 16Gb storage.
Not too much bloatware the 8Gb has just over 4Gb before you update any applications.
S580/S585 - Galaxy Tab A has 7300 mAh do you have this model ?
Anonymous, 05 Jan 2018Damn when will t560 get atleast lollipop update! No update for this model stuck on 4.4
I need to set the record straight on this tablet. First, it has a 7200 mAh battery (not 5000 as shown) which, when combined with modest specs (lower res screen and slower processor) and the nougat update (7.1.1) makes for one of the longest lasting tablets I have ever owned. I am willing to give up processing power and resolution if it means I can watch four movies on a plane and arrive at my destination with 50% battery left. Those modest specs means this is not a great gaming tablet or something you want to use to stream to your smart TV. What it is ideal for is something small enough to easy pack with a big enough screen to get some work done (I use google apps) and watch some shows to relax. Pros for me: Long battery life, nice size screen, good OS and not much bloatware from Samsung. Cons for me: poor speaker. some stuttering in performance under high demand (close apps).
