Anonymous, 08 Jan 2014It looks like iPad mini to me...hmmmyes , it is an ipad mini stolen design , but wait a second it doesn't look like an ipad mini , it looks more like the Galaxy S2 and as far as I am concerned the Galaxy S2 was made long before the ipad mini , maybe that means that the iPad mini is a bigger Galaxy S2 made by apple , so we should sue apple right now , wake up guys all tablets, smartphones and phaplets look the same from the front view , only some small elements like the company logo or the buttons that differ

Secondly iPad time is gone , among my friends , family ,college colleagues , no one I know have bought an iPad again after the 1st note 10.1 was released and even though iPad Air seems more appealing than the old iPad 4 , people will prefer samsung tablets as they have a wide range of screen sizes from 8.4 to 12.2 and different versions with higher specs tab to note

it will be worth if they make it GSM available.. no one wants to carry two diff sets for making calls and web browsing.. i dont wanna compare it to ipad.. but still it look like ipad mini.. i will appreciate samsung if they make this set GSM capable...

main dissapointment in this spec was the battery. too small for a high res screen and high clockspeed chipset. they should make it at least 6600mAh

most people don't buy tablets to make phone calls LOL, I know.
However, I would have bought 8.4 Tablet if Samsung left the phone feature and stylus pen alone and added USA LTE for T-Mobile.
I don't want to carry two separate devices with me.
To me it's just stupid. It's ok. I'm glad that Nokia 1525 is out there.

Michael, 07 Jan 2014Most of you childish fans of Apples or Samsung still will not see that Samsung and Apple are ... morewho said that the iPads are better than the galaxy tabs or notes , take the galaxy tab 3 8.0" vs iPad mini 1st generation , the galaxy tab was better in every thing and look at the price range , the ipad mini least priced version ( wifi only 16GB ) was still more expensive than the galaxy tab which was realeased 8 months after the ipad , and of course it is the same case as in the Tab pro 8.4" compared to the ipad mini 2 with retina display , whether they are working together or not samsung always comes at the top , and with the new leather back it gives it a premium feel than the plastic back cover , believe it or not I am not a samsung fan , before these tablets come out , I would have never thought to buy anything from samsung but now I feel like I am going to buy this tablet as its specs and design is way better than previous samsung-made tablets

Most of you childish fans of Apples or Samsung
still will not see that Samsung and Apple are working together (means Apples pays Samsung money for Samsung tablets lack behind Apples tablets).
Otherwise how can you explain the very late screen resolution boost by Samsung? And also how can you explain Samsung finally adding LTE to all of its tablets but lacks common LTE bands for US Market?
And finally Samsung added European LTE Bands but disables GSM Voice calls on all new tablets?
This is not such a strange or abnormal technique and has been known in big business among large corporations for a while. One pay off money to another while together still make big bucks!

Anonymous, 07 Jan 2014if the price were around 25k in Rs. it would've been kind(sensible) & great.forget that dude... Samsung is not going to launch this in India, bcoz it does not have any 3G version. Samsung doesn't launch 4G phones here.

LTE SPECS NOW AVAILABLE:
NO LTE bands for T-Mobile and even for AT&T.
Thanks god Samsung finally made 42mbps 3g on all new tablets instead of 21mbps. Plus GSM arena states that all of these new tablets have only 3g and 4g connectivity (except than non have 4g for USA).
Since APPLE IPAD Has LTE connectivity for every US Carrier, I can only assume that Samsung and Apple are working together to keep APPLE in the first place in sales. Just like there was no explanation as to why Samsung didn't make high resolution display before when it already made retina displays for APPLE.
I will have to stick to a Lumia 1525 dues to it's
full connectivity and being able to text quickly.

I hope that at least LTE connectivity included LTE bands for T-Mobile. Otherwise it's a shame!

I really hope that GSM on this tablet is for making phone calls and not just for a sim card. I will only able to confirm it when specifications become available on Samsung's website.
However, even if this tablet can make phone calls the lack of stylus pen makes it impossible to write quick text messages on such a large display.
The only explanation I find for this, is that Samsung still wants overpriced Note 3 to lead in sales.
