If you're looking for a holiday gift idea for a loved one (or for yourself, why not), this might interest you. Starting today and until Christmas, you can snag Samsung's Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 from Amazon for just $249.
That's a whopping $150 less than the 8-inch tablet's recommended retail price. It launched in the US priced at $399.99, but that was almost a year and a half ago, granted.
The Tab S2 is by no means a new tablet, it's actually getting quite long in the tooth by mobile market standards. That said, it has received an update to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, which it now runs with Samsung's TouchWiz UI on top.
The device has an 8-inch 2,048x1,536 Super AMOLED touchscreen, the Exynos 5433 chipset (with a 1.9 GHz octa-core CPU), 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, an 8 MP rear camera, a 2 MP front-facing unit, and a 4,000 mAh battery.
You tell him about it! Better screen (higher res), better battery , better aspect ratio. What was Samsung thinking with tab S2 is beyond me.
Ew, wannabe ipad. this ipad is lame; apple iz best; they make me easy to understand complicetad technology, no university vroom vrom
Of course not this would be a downgrade because your tab s8.4 is way more powerful and got much better characteristics than the stupid tab s2
