Yes Samsung is known for image sensor pixel size about 2 micrometers so it can take pictures even in low light tough hardware , Samsung buyers don't go away form this big brand
Last year, i believed that Samsung topped Apple with the Galaxy Tab S over the iPad Air 2. This year, they just remade an android version of the iPad Air 2.
The Tab S2 downgrades from 288ppi to 264ppi, from a full macbook pro retina screen to 1536 x 2048 (really, why?), did the processors get downgraded too?
No wonder the price on Amazon.com for the Galaxy Tab S1 got bumped up by $100.
Really bad year for samsung's tablets....
Tcool, 26 Jul 2015Then use those outdated tablets, it's your choice.hi tcool ! why are you not is S4 forum now a days btw 4:3 tab s ration is a big failure !!
Its down grade. After viewing debates about 4:3 vs 19:9 etc, and tried Tab A 9.6" and Tab s 10.5" in Samsung shop, voted for Tab 10.5". 4:3 is best selling tablet for iPad is this aspect ratio, and apple always have best user experience etc., this is surviorship bias. If its intention is reading fixed format eBook, e.g.. pfd book and the size is limited to that small iPad air only, 4:3 is best economic using of space for reading A4 pdf. For kindle, it format according to aspect ratio. The large 10.5" just little bit narrower in portrait mode. For typing document in portrait orientation, it has more room for document, the keyboard occupied nearly 1/3 of height in 9.7" Tab A. No downgrade in reading experience. Its important that consuming visual content is inevitable. Viewing movies in play store, most movie wider aspect ratios than 16:9. For 9.7" 4:3 tabs, the viewing experience worse than a phablet phone.
I'm a big fan of samsung i used all of samsung's flagship phone ,phablet ,tablet and smartwatch, but tab S2 is the worst tablet from samsung. i mean 4:3 IS SUCK!!!!! i rather use the old and slower tab s 8.4 or 10.5 instead of tab s2
blckdragn, 21 Jul 2015Seems like an okay tablet. My only beef is why the ppi is so terrible on a screen of this size... moreLarger screen always has less ppi then smaller screen if they have same resolution...
Anonymous, 21 Jul 2015why is samsung going in the wrong direction, first the s6 and now this tablet. even the note 1... moreme....for me 4:3 ist the best as i got used to it. Why putting a shitstorm on it? just buy a different tablet then. i dont enjoy media on a tablet, there are also PCs, TVs....for reading, borwosing it is just perfect.
Where did the LED flash go? I think Samsung should make a 16:10 tablet after this so people have a choice. Not everyone enjoys 4:3 on a tablet. And hopefully they bring the LED flash back.
Samsung is too busy trying to copy Apple, when they should be forgetting about them and just concentrate on making a fantastic Tablet !
Seriously everything today is widescreen 16:10 or 16:9 - why would you go back in time to the old CRT Vacuum tube T.V days, just because Apple is doing it ?
Samsung should make two devices ( one for E-Book readers 4:3 / and one for Movie playback & game playing 16:9 ) - Just a thought ?
why is samsung going in the wrong direction, first the s6 and now this tablet. even the note 10.1 2014 edition has better display that the latest apple tablet and this tab s2 plus a standard 16:9 widescreen ration. Who seriously enjoys media in 4:3 ?
good device but the memory is just too small for this device. Why Samsung doesn't want to be using bigger memory 128gb
Anonymous, 20 Jul 20154:3 is the new standard.. Is the old standard. If they doing step backward they going in wrong way.
Seems like an okay tablet. My only beef is why the ppi is so terrible on a screen of this size? Hell its got a freaking fingerprint scanner. My phone has more ppi and it's a 5.5" screen.
