Alex, 02 Aug 2018OMG, people do really like to complain. Its a tablet, why do you need a Snapdragon 845 or 6 GB... moreEasy, I want to game on that tablet, and the massive oomph bonus from those extra two gigs of RAM, higher clock frequency, the 2nd gen fab, and the better GPU are SUPER important for me.
As for reading news or other stuff. I am fine doing that from my iPhone.
It's like buying a brand new car with an old engine/parts
Anonymous, 02 Aug 2018is it hdr supported? no mention of hdr anywhere/ no dolby vision / hdrplus, atleast hd10 would... moreYou don't need Dolby vision when it's a Samsung panel
Anonymous, 03 Aug 2018It's the same of the tab s3... tab s3 has almost the same features, and in addition tab s4 has... moreno there are differences and the most important one is the aspect ratio of the tablet. For a guy like me its important that my tablet have a 16:10 ratio instead of 4:3.
It's a decent tablet and unfortunately there are not a lot of those out there so we either have to buy from unknown brands or old tablets both of which dont appeal to me. So Im gonna buy this tab coz it has everything I want
It's the same of the tab s3... tab s3 has almost the same features, and in addition tab s4 has an old snapdragon 835 and only 4gb of ram, and this old hardware could be ok but not at that price.
Chris, 03 Aug 201816x9 is the best ratio for watching video content, which is what people mainly do on tablets. ... moreThat should read a Square Pad (ipad).

Watching stuff on a squad pad (ipad) looks ridiculousness and causes the picture to be made smaller to fit the tablets screen. You end up wasting 1/3 of the screen. Hardly anyone reads ebooks on a tablet.
Stick to your ipad.
Anonymous, 03 Aug 2018screen to body ration is not so good but apart from it it looks a preety good device, finally ... moreTab S1 was better for its time
Same/similar panel. But lighter
Also only 1Gig less ram despite being 4 years older than this. Only bad thing about Tab S1 was the weak SoC, but that is to be expected in 2014 all SoCs were weak. It is not as if this one's is a champ or anything, a mid performer at this point too.
screen to body ration is not so good but apart from it it looks a preety good device, finally a 10.5 inch display with good specs.
I'm visually impaired and need bigger screens than other people
Anonymous, 02 Aug 2018This is what many ex-Tab S users WANT & NEED instead of the puny 4:3 ratio (LESS content) ... moreI'm only buyin 4:3 tablets, because this is best format for ebooks and news websites. Never watching movies on it, for movies, there are big screen tvs.
OMG, people do really like to complain. Its a tablet, why do you need a Snapdragon 845 or 6 GB of RAM? You'll end up using it to read ebooks and to watch videos. They are good specs and the battery is great.
This is what many ex-Tab S users WANT & NEED instead of the puny 4:3 ratio (LESS content) and FINALLY not copying iPad screen ratio. Ask any Tab S users & they agree with your statement. Sad that the Fingerprint Sensor (for now) & IR Blaster (not much of an issue) is gone. Hope Tab S5 adds ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor which will debut on S10 next year. I do know there will be a few BLIND ex-iPad SH**PS / TRO**s showing up defending their 4:3 ratio Tab S2 & Tab S3 soon. I have dealt with them before and they do not seem to listen to my side and criticize heavily.
Shariq, 02 Aug 2018Tab SE pen looks much better. 4GB RAM should be increased to 6GB Tab S3 correction
Tab SE pen looks much better.
4GB RAM should be increased to 6GB
Wonder if we will be able to plug in an external monitor when using Dex?
Anonymous, 02 Aug 2018I was really hoping that they would use a Snapdragon 845 with 6-8gb of ram on this tablet. Wou... moreYou dont need more RAM for that , Actually 2GB RAM is enough for this game in Mobile version.
4 gb ram.... definitely no...
I was really hoping that they would use a Snapdragon 845 with 6-8gb of ram on this tablet. Would be better to play PUBG Mobile on max settings on a bigger screen.
