Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 gets FCC certified
A few days after the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note9 was certified by the FCC, the Galaxy Tab S4 tablet - which may accompany the Note9 for launch in August - has also received the certification.
The model listed on FCC's website is SM-T835, with documents revealing it supports LTE. This is inline with expectations given that SM-T815 and SM-T825 were both LTE models of the Galaxy Tab S2 and Galaxy Tab S3, respectively.
Specifically, the FCC listing reveals support for LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 13, 17, 66, and 41. Other details revealed by FCC include 249.3×164.3mm dimensions, Bluetooth 5.0 support, single rear camera, and audio "Tuned by AKG."
The handset was spotted on Geekbench last month, revealing key specs including Snapdragon 835 chipset, 10.5-inch display of 1600 x 2560px resolution (16:10 aspect ratio), and 4GB RAM. Other rumored specs include 64GB storage and 12MP/7MP camera combo.

Same! The human sight is closer to 16:10. What is the purpose of a 10 inch if you have 2 huge black bars on top and bottom. Even a 7-8 inch 16:9 tablet looks better. Yes, 4:3 is better than 16:10 for READING on a smaller tablet. But 16:10 on a ...

For me, the fact that the tab S2 and S3 were not at the 16:10 ratio but had the same as the iPad was the reason I didn't buy them and stayed with my Tab S until now.. So I'm really glad they got back to that ratio.

Development cost. Software was probably already done for the older chipset. and how available is the newer chipset.
