The fingerprint is amazing on s5e. Not once has it let me down.

Tried it about 6 month and replaced the battery in my old ... moreIf you still want to use the S5e, there is an app called rotation control which lets you force landscape mode on all apps. The fingerprint sensor is pretty bad in landscape for me as well.

regret I bought this piece of junk. Tried it about 6 month and replaced the battery in my old Samsung Tab S2 which is my main tablet again. My Tab S2 is working like a charm while the S5E has a malfunctioning fingerprint reader...clear cache....no result...what?,,,factory reset? really? every time fingerprint malfunctions? What a joke. The fingerprintsensor on the Tab S2 never stopped working. Maybe the placement of the sensor is stupid? Also tge S5E is forcing portrait orientation many times....This 6 month new tablet is ready for retirement and is already replaced by my old Tab S2....no more new Samsung!

After updating to Android 10, there is a weird screen issue. At random times, lines appear on the upper part of the screen (blue, white, red, green, etc) for a couple of seconds and after that either disappear or the screen goes off.
Never happened on Android 9.
Factory reset did not fix it.
So disappointing.

Anonymous, 03 Aug 2020Yeah, as complicated as tapping a toggle for Dex.I'm sure you must be hurt by my 'you need to learn more about android' comment that I proved so convincingly in this forum SEVERAL times. :)
You had to fight back with a simple oversight I made, which I actually corrected because I mistakenly assumed that other users were going to use DEX mode the way I do - for projecting videos stored on the tablet to a big screen TV to avoid those ugly black bars.
Guess what? You can keep on repeating the oversight but like with any inexperienced user, you'll never understand my use case scenario unless you have experience with it. Clearly you don't. You probably don't have a USB C to HDMI cable. :)

The tab S5e was updated almost a month ago to Android 10. If you truly owned the tablet you'd have known in that long amount of time it was updated especially as almost everybody was talking about it and anticipating it.
