I' only bought it. Its good tablet expecially for movies and music. You tube is fine. Everything is good. Im happy with it. I've found no faults at all im happy to say. Good purchase for me.

This one has failed on that front with bad design. My biggest issue is a bug that I encountered for 6 months since release and now it's back. Watching youtube, half the display shows in 480p or 360p and the other half full res. I have to physically rotate the tablet in order to get rid of it. You should be happy that you didn't swap to this tablet a year ago LOL.

Anonymous, 20 Jul 2020Dolby atmos turning off randomly after android 10 update..Try restating your tablet. It might be wee giliche after the update. Usually restart might solve these small problems. If not then a factory reset. But backup all your data before doing it.

I'm glad this tablet has calls and texts to any device..
Means I can use my tablet to text and call if my phones in another room. I have that feature on Tab A . Im glad they kept it:)

On the 'Gestures' section, turn off 'Swipe to open/close' to disable swipe up gesture to get to app drawer. You can then add an app drawer shortcut so it will just be like Samsung's default launcher. You can actually disable the app drawer by not placing any app shortcut for it. That way it looks like other launchers without app drawers. You can just put all shortcuts in the home screen or the succeeding screens.

I prefer the classic app drawer icon and use swipe up gesture to open Facebook messenger. You can customize gestures with Nova launcher Prime.
You can have actually make Nova launcher look and behave much like Samsung's default launcher. As mentioned, Nova launcher can be overwhelming to newer users with its practically unlimited customization options but once you get the hang of it, but you'll find its 100x better than Samsung's default launcher and you will likely be using it for every new android phone or tablet you get.

The battery is amazing on this tablet. Im very 😮 . And again I mention the fingerprint works everytime. The display is beautiful. Watching movies is great. The sounds is great. Im glad I bought s5e😀

You would think they have icon size ... moreNova launcher is not weird if you know how to use it and customize it to your advantage. It takes some learning curve though and can be daunting for those new to custom launchers. Try it, and you'll agree it's the best Android launcher bar none.
You just need to dig into the settings. The customization options can be overwhelming especially for those coming from iOS or those who have never tried using a full featured custom launcher before and just rely on their phone or tablet manufacturer's default launcher. But if you get over the learning curve, you'll never use your device's (phone's or tablet's) default launcher anymore.
Example: In Nova launcher, you can adjust the desktop grid to have anywhere from a 2x2 icons (only 4 icons in the vast screen size of the tab S5e) to up to 12x12 icons (144 icons in your S5e home screen). You can set the icon size from 70% of the original size to 150% of the original size. You can set a padding size (margins along the 4 edges of the screen). You can set to have icon text labels or not and even set the color of the text labels. You can change the icon appearance, can remove the dock (the fixed icons at the bottom of the screen) and can even have as many as 5 dock pages (Android's default is one page maximum only) and can have as many as 12 icons per dock page. The possibilities are astounding you will never use an android phone or tablet without Nova launcher anymore.

You can also change/customize virtually everything in Android and can stop using Samsung's default launcher. I personally use only Nova Launcher in all my android phones and tablets because it's simply the best. Just download and install Nova launcher and purchase Nova Launcher Prime for additional premium features and you can customize not just icon size but practically everything you can think of - size, shape, color and layout/characteristics of docks, grids, folders, app icons, app drawer, animations, and even customize gestures, icon badges and icon/folder appearances.
