How many hours of screen time are you all getting? I have wifi on and 40-50 % brightness and I'm getting only over 8 hours of screen on time on a brand new tab s5e. I see people getting about 10 or even 12 hours.

Just recieved Andriod 10 on my galaxy Tab A 10.5 just now. My tab s5e got it when I bought it on Wednesday. android 2.1 . So.im glad Samsung are still updating even 2018 models which is good.

Matt, 09 Jul 2020Where I live, the S4 and s5e tablets are priced the same. Is the S4 a better tablet if priced ... moreThe tab S4 has faster processor but that doesn't mean it's better overall. The tab S4 is end of life (almost 2 years old) which means no more software and security updates. Also, the amoled display and battery will have likely deteriorated more, being almost 2 years old. Also, the tab S4 has an iris scanner for authentication which is unreliable (slow detection and lots of false rejections) compared the tab S5e's fast side positioned fingerprint reader.
The snapdragon 670 in the tab S5e is also fast enough for most needs and don't feel slow or sluggish at all despite being less powerful than the snapdragon 835 of the tab S4. As a bonus, you get better battery life with the less power hungry processor of the S5e.
Better to get the S5e over the 2 year old S4 if both are priced similarly. Otherwise, if the tab S4 is much cheaper, you may want to consider it over the S5e.

I have to say the display when watching movies is amazing. The sound is amazing. So far after Android 10 update everything is running smooth:).

Where I live, the S4 and s5e tablets are priced the same. Is the S4 a better tablet if priced the same as s5e? Thanks

This has only 7040 battery. Tab A 10.5 has 7300 battery. I thought battery was bigger on tab S5e......

Im using galaxy Tab A 10.5 at the min. It will be getting Android 10 and its a 2018 tablet. I just read that the update has been pushed out to this device in uk. So hopefuly when I get s5e the update will come through. Cheers.

Anonymous, 29 Apr 2020This tablet's screen got terrible oleophobic coating. If you are using tempered glass screen protector, replace it with higher quality tempered glass screen protector with better oleophobic coating. Otherwise, you can buy a high quality oleophobic coating to the tempered glass screen protector or to the screen itself if you are not using a screen protector.
